I don't have such experience, after losing on gambling, I just have some break then keep going on gambling.
It is all about setting up limit after losing or winning.

Let me tell you why these limits do not work:

1) There can be some unexpected scenarios that will completely change everything. Like after your limit is over, you may see some tempting offer or tournament in some site. You will feel compelled to pay depending on how much addicted are you.

2) It is hard to put self limit as you have all the control. A limit from an external member may be more firm.

I've experienced this before, mostly if you do actually lose a lot of your money, it lowers down your confidence, and this is what I've experienced before, wherein I never even won a game that night, it is frustrating and I was definitely angry and am also losing hope that night, I was about to quit on gambling, but I have this mindset that there are more opportunities to come, its all in my head, I just needed a time off gambling and the next week I tried to gamble and luck was with me that time.

That's the most common scenery i've seen and keep repeating words i've heard after losing, but it was not followed after all. It is not easy to quit gambling, instead I came back to gamble again to gain again what I lost. Revenge is the correct term. After losing i don't think of quitting.

Do not be low self disciplined. Do not laugh at yourself, don't just cave in, don't give up. Try to not play as much as you can, you may return but in the end the more you do not gamble the better for you. So, the point here is not to just quit cold all together but postpone your return as further as possible. Some people give in because they know they will come back to gambling, well what of it ? Even if you return, giving a break is better than just caving in and going back to it right away.

It is not easy to quit gambling, instead I came back to gamble again to gain again what I lost. Revenge is the correct term. After losing i don't think of quitting.

Then what is the final thing here with your gambling activities ? I believe no one could be successful in taking revenge against gambling.
