Instead of pre- / instamining, we now have coins without a compiled Windows-QT to make sure not too many people will mine it from the start.

yeah,
one million coins already mined
diff is 7.12GH now

i was since start, get no connections (using starting thread nodes)
after 800k coins mined i get finally connected

and now getting only rejected blocks using 70GH/sec

this is ridiculous lol
lol be gentle people the network is small and there is no need to hit it with so much hashing power. Over a million coins out there, and I just got my first 500 lol. Cheesy

The orignal post is crappy though, to find out the port and the RPC port I had to grep through the code.

Sorry this is my first post, I have added more info to the original post as we improve this.

it works now... mined 6k coins... however does not know if it worth it... no exchange whatsoever...

Right now trying to get a blockchain/merged mining/pool setup, but an exchange is on the todo list

This was a much nicer launch than all the ones back when there were new coins every day and all massive orphan-fests of insta-mining.

So its looking pretty nice to me so far compared to pretty much all the others I tried setting up right away when they launched.

If you do manage to enable merged mining that would be really cool as the existing panoply of merged mined coins has no PoS coin yet so it would help round out the set of merged coins,

iSpace Mining Pool up and running at http://pac.ispace.co.uk  Grin

I have shut the pool down temporarily while I look into why we were finding blocks but these were not showing up in the paccoind client.

Seems that all found blocks are being rejected due to a Sign Failed error when calling submitblock through the paccoind API. Anyone know what I've missed, l'm guessing it's due to POS but not had this problem on my other pools before.  Huh

For the last 6 hours there has been no movement and the block chain is frozen at 4243. I assume this will clear up when it reaches the next 24 hour cycle and recalculates the difficulty.
Paccoin has only been out for 3 days and has already generated over 2 million coins in circulation. Difficulty as of 11-13-2013 is 7946.45825933 which is phenomenal.

I think its on pause because too many coins have been mined for the time its been running. I believe that once the time has gone by and the difficulty, which adjusts every 24 hours, has occurred it will allow new blocks.
I just got this message after finding a block:
paccoinMiner:

The coinbase timestamp is too early? Can anyone enlighten us on this?

Actually I think the problem there were no servers set to gen=1 so no coins were being generated.
