Bitcoin beats Litecoin in almost all the areas. Let it be in volume, market cap, developers or community, while Litecoin is lagging behind in all these things. Litecoin only had a upper hand in tps but with segwit and lightning network implemented on the Bitcoin network, Litecoin doesn't even stand a chance.

Both bitcoin and LItecoin are stable coins that is worth holding but I prefer Bitcoin in the long run and when I am trading , I used bitcoins or Ether ,since the network fees is quit low than bitcoin.

No comparison at all met! Just look at the market situation of both the coins and then you will find that BTC always stands a better chance in front of the LTC. LTC to be honest is strikingly good coin, it is getting gradually getting developed and turning into utility coin as well. However, there is still big issue of its popularity. I mean most of the people recognise the BTC in the first place and then they go for ETH, LTC etc that way! Also tell you what LTC can be next ETH for instance in terms of its market volume, marled prices and popularity. But comparing with the BTC keeps it far off the grid I think. These are my thoughts and what do you think about it.  |

sure many prefer the btc, because btc the king of the coins. but litecoin also has the potential coin. so the both coin is nice. if I choose btc
only newbies prefer bitcoin because "it is the kind of coins". everyone else with half a brain prefers bitcoin because they see the potential in a decentralized currency which is being improved and adopted by more and more people every day. compared to that litecoin is a simple copy of the same thing which failed to reach the adoption after all these years. |

Choosing the known over the unknown or not so popular is a gamble. And that is business. You want to earn more?, then any experiment is always welcome but you have to prepare on events where you might lose or fail. Of course bitcoin us popular and known being on top but it is not wrong to gamble for another option. Just make it sure that your investments or capital will not be lost. There is nothing wrong with choosing either one of it.

for me litecoin has no good future although yes it is existing but for me it is not that far that the price of each will worth a lot unlike bitcoin you can trust bitcoin to have a good value in the long run so it is better to choose bitcoin.
