just imagine if bitcoin has become very rare and the total supply of bitcoin is just less than 1 million bitcoin then definitely bitcoin trading volume will be more than today and experience a fantastic increase.

Thats a great news since we can see that all of the efforts of the bitcoins supporters are getting paid and the perks of being known as the 6th largest currency is also great. The years that it would take for the bitcoin to reach the number one spot is really unpredictable since lots of hate news are still arising about bitcoin and lots of investors are holding back because of it. I think proper spreading of information about bitcoin would really help it a lot in reaching that spot.

It is difficult to say something like this. First of all, we don't know how many coins are free-float right now. Because millions of coins have been "lost" and they can't be spend as no one has the private keys.

That's great and considering the global currency, it should be on the top so I am sure that we will see growth in the ranking in the coming decade and we will see a high number of users for Bitcoin as compared to that of individual fiat currencies. At this stage, it is surprising that we don't even have 10% of world's population using BTC but still, it is in top 10 currencies, this is a very optimistic picture.

Bitcoin is the world’s 6th largest currency. These figures are noteworthy, but if the value of a single Bitcoin goes up to $15,000, India’s currency Rupee will pass. Ethereum ranked 17th and Bitcoin Cash ranked 20th. Ripple is located just below 20.
How many years Bitcoin will need to become No.1 ?

Great information i wasn't aware about such thing. Really impressive that our bitcoin is in number 6. I was thinking bitcoin is just internet currency and circling around internet. Never expect such thing with bitcoins. It will increase more courage in bitcoin lover and they invite people to invest with it. Anyways i think in future bitcoin will surpass Indian rupees and in 2030 it will be in top on the list.
Yes this is a great news for the users of bitcoin.Bitcoin is gaining a lot of success and it has been doing well from the last nine years though it had seen many ups and downs during this time period.Bitcoin's users are increasing by seeing the profit margin it gives. It is the best option for investment in today's date as its price is rising. In the future it is possible that it can become a global currency and can give competition to fiat system of currency.

We cant realy predict how long bitcoin will be the number 1 in crypto currency world and i dont think there is some new coins will be made in the future that can beat bitcoin. Even etherium also is a very popular crypto currency and tip 2 in the market he is still way too far on the bitcoin price.

Yes i agree, we cant predict if when bitcoin become #1 currency because of our new technology and smart people we dont know if there will come a new and good coin than bitcoin that will beat to become a #1 currency. We dont know the future, maybe someday bitcoin will be the #1 currency and we hope that it happens because its better to use.

it's true that if we look at the sixth largest currency circulation, I think if the bitcoin supply is higher it will be number one later, because when looking at it at the present time, I think it's really good info after all is in circulation yet but for that matter is not a problem, but what we need is the price will be better on Bitcoin now, but for me Bitcoin is the world's number 1 currency, because Bitcoin can reach $ 12000 and other currencies can not do it Bitcoin currently ...

This is a great achievement for bitcoin considering the opposition Bitcoin has faced and the doubt some people have on Bitcoin. This statistics shows how powerful Bitcoin is and how great it can become in some years to come. I believe that bitcoin can easily get into the first three currencies considering the rate of its global usage.

Bitcoin is the most popular currency, it is written about in the media and spoken in all walks of life. Many large businessmen prefer to carry out transactions by bitcoins. I know the bookmaker who accepts bets and makes payments to BTC.

bitcoin is not about competing with other currencies so it is not going to become number 1, 2, etc. bitcoin is just a new form of currency here to offer different options. the options that people wanted for years and because of that it will continue to grow but it is not about competing or replacing anything.

Absolutely agree with you.

The situation with the attempts of natural market growth of BTC against the backdrop of the largest conference and the manipulative price drop down once again convinces me that the period 2016 - 2017, when the market developed naturally, passed. The key point was the introduction of futures for BTC.
You can not look at positive and negative news - feedbacks are completely disabled.

In this sense, the graph of gold for the last 6 years is quite indicative.
Trillions of green paper are printed, prices are rising, but gold prices (a very limited resource) stand still. This is possible only in the "paper market," when instead of the most valuable asset, people exchange bloated financial obligations that do not involve actual delivery.

More than 200 replies and only a few people have questioned the validity of the chart. That is very sad.
I am equally worried about that. While the information looks good for us as bitcoin activists, the source is also very necessary. Based on what criteria was that chart derived? I want to know more about the source.

How many years Bitcoin will need to become No.1 ?
I'll take a guess on this one. If bitcoin reaches the speculation of $250,000 and $1,000,000 I think bitcoin will become the no. 1 currency depending on the value of currency in the circulation.
This is showing that its a currency for the future. This graph is really showing acceptance in near future. We need to buy more coins.  Grin
Just like what I'm saying before on what I have read that bitcoin is the future. Wherever is this graph came from, this is truly an amazing inspiration especially for those investors who are already giving up because of the past correction.

I am eager to know about bitcoin.

It is amazing that in just 9 years Bitcoin has already reached this level in the monetary system. This graph shows that Bitcoin is well on its way in the rankings and is even about to be at par with the Indian rupee. But obviously, it is far from even reaching 1/4 of the other currencies' status. This is because fiat has been circulating in the system for centuries and crypto in just less than a decade. How long will Bitcoin be able to be no. 1? Hhmmmm...pretty long. We're talking about decades here. Because cryptocurrencies have not yet been fully accepted plus all of the FUD's and fake news which is why it would be difficult for Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency to reach that status.

It is nice to see that bitcoins has grown so much in just 9 years. With this pace, it should be number 1 currency in next 5-6 years only.

And it is only 10 years after its creation. What will happen next? He may well break into the top three, and may become the first.
