there aren't any good investment options available, altcoin itself is an investment. you should get pos altcoin if you want something added over to your wallet every week or so. i think hodling works best.

You can transfer these tokens on exchange websites and sell them for whatever price you are getting and once that is done you can use the money to trade in other cryptocurrencies. If you do not want to trade you can just hold any good coin like btc and eth and wait for the price to rise. But I would suggest you keep holding your Altcoin if you feel it is a good coin. You never know it might increase in price any time.

Nah, I guess you are misleading everything here. I mean if you have altcoins then it means you have already made the investment into it! Now the second part is to hold them until they get spiked hugely and you earn some good bucks on that. Once you profit from them then you sell them and buy again when they go down in the value as it will lead to swing type of trading. Thus making every trade of your profitable. Thats the best strategy to work with the altcoins. Also you know very well how altcoins are making faster moves up and down and thus it becomes far more profitable with swing type of trading. Try that one and yo wont regret. Just make it emotional proof trade by the way.

You can do BTC/ALT or ETH/ALT trading under the swing trade or may be day trade at some instances. If you dont want to just hold the coins then this could be best option for you. This is quick one to get your profits but at the same time it needs a lot of attention to be given so that you can watch the moves of trades. Then only you can get some sort of success in it otherwise be gentle and just hold the coins. Holding has its own advantages of getting risk minimised and also it works most of the time if you keep enough patience. The rest is your personal choice but I am pretty sure you will be getting positive reviews on the hold option only.

There are a lot of lending platforms but that would require you to have a fixed contract duration between which you won't have any control over your altcoins or some platforms would require you to convert your altcoins into their coins and then lend their coins in order to use their lending platform. Both the scenarios are useless as the altcoins you have might be the ones which you have invested your lot of time in order to know everything about it before investing and if you convert it into another coin for just growing your wealth it could be a possibility that your old coin might rise in the future and the converted ones are as it is or worse, have fallen. So just hold you altcoin and let them be dead in your wallet.

 Since most ICO projects are in development stage, the price of the tokens we invested has not factor in the value of  completed projects, so in order to reap good gain investors need to hold the tokens for reasonable length of time for the projects to complete and market. I hold long term some tokens backed by promising projects managed by team of experience managers. However if the price of my tokens get exorbitantly high I would sell some of them, and buy back later when the price come down.
