Anyone make serious profit from hodling 6-12 months ?

Some people says hodl is the best way to make big profit. I am not a good hodler. I just hodl genesis vision for 3 months and made 3x profit but the other I always sell in a week or 10 days. Anyone make serious profit from hodling 6-12 months ?

I held my BTC for one and half year 2016-2017 and received a huge profit.Still i am holding my investment to get more profit.Holding is a good option especially when market is red,right now market is recovering and prices are going up so investors who held their investment during dip period now will enjoy high profit.

I hold some coins for 6 month and now I loss 30% from my portfolio. I still believe in my portfolio. I sure that I can make some x by end of this year. Keep calm and hodl.

I am holding my coin for almost a month and I am believing that wothin the six months frame my coin will have a good value and I think a year frame is too long for a coin to have a good value.

And also for me if the coin has a impact to the investors it will not reach a year frame to have a good value.

Same thing with you,  cause for me it won't make more profitable of having such long term investment. Market keeps on moving and can't be sure if hold it for atleast 1 year it's price goes higher as we expect. Daily trading might be good especially if you are focusing on crypto only, it surely gain profit everyday.

Token hold strategy is always winning. I tried to trade, but I can not, and always in the minus. So now hold, and the only way to be healthy nerves, and good profit.

Even in a bear market, buy some BTC and ETH, and you can make a profit in the long run!

I always sold the earned altcoins right away, but my friend does not (he always kept them). In the totals he always got more profit than me. Now I never sell all altcoins at once. I try to hold.

It is this period of 6 months or more that I consider optimal for making a profit. But if you bought at the peak, you need to keep it much longer, as for those who bought bitcoin in last December.

The question is not so specified. These people are and now they flaunt on the covers of Forbes. These are bitcoin holders. I think you would like to learn about the benefits of such retention with normal and appropriate coins. And not with bitcoin, which can enrich or drive into the pit. (Ethereum.....)

I had a very cool profit last December. I sold 75% of Bitcoins when the cryptocurrency reached its maximum. 25% were left, and now, I am not going to sell BTC as I believe that it will grow again.

hi, to be honest i didnt for my own money but i have some Investors which bought Verge for example over me when it was 70-80 Sat or DGB when he was 60 Sat and holded really long... The DGB guy was out at 2000 Sats but the Verge guy is still holding because of confidence that Verge will explode sooner or later... Iam not holding STuff so long mostly i like to Swimm with the Hype for some small % except i see it will breakout like 'BCN yesterday then i keep as it makes no sense to sell something if you are 100% up and the thing still goes like Crazy... Of course you can make big profit with hold coin. But, I don't think that hold BTC, ETH, LTC, and strong Alt will make big profit in short time. At least you need more than years to earn big profit. I more prefer invest ICO but it's need to careful because many ICO are SCAM.

Yes of course there's someone is serious from holding in 6-12 months to get profit because they believe to their crypto, also holding that long it possibleto get a lot profit especially when the market are rising. Then its better if your crypto your going to hold is have potential, because surely you will become successful in holding, but if your crypto have no potential then holding 6 month and above is not worth it.

In fact, keeping a long-term coin or exchange for a short period of time depends on the potential of the coin and the market from time to time. Sometimes it's not going to be profitable for long periods of time ... I do not hold the long-term or short-term investment goal with the right change for the sake of making a lot of money.

I have been investing in crypto currencies since August 2017. Yes, anyone can earn money in 6-12 months. Some people may even earn a lot of money in 1-2 months. I understand that some people earn high profits through leveraged transactions on the stock exchange, but this is extremely risky. I don't think that this stage is always holding high profits unless you have bitcoins many years ago.
