I would take BTC for sure. Ethereum grows a lot when people want to partecipate to ICOs, so there is a great demand, but the ICOs golden age has handed, so I would prefer buying some BTC.

For me if I choosing I will choose the coin of the ethereum why it's because for me the price is cheaper than bitcoin. If the coin are cheaper and once the price increase you can get more profit for sure because if you buy a coin who the price is very high you can get onky mybe double of your capital or triple because it's hard to double the price because of the high price. But even bitcoin is very high I believe it will increase or doubel the price in the next few months . But for me as of now ethereum is much better to bitcoin because that coin is possible to become the next bitcoin after few years and if that happen possible you become rich in the future.

If I were to choose, I still go on btc simply because the price goes up faster than ethereum and has a greater value. Ethereum has less chance of increasing thousand of bucks in the remaining 8months while btc is known for that. Go for the one that is currently dominating the market if you want a much bigger profit in just a short period of time. If you want a bigger amount of coins holding then go to eth.

In my computation, 150 ethereum and 9.5 bitcoin are quite the same, so if you want to invest 150 worth of ethereum or 9.5 bitcoin are like the same, and it's up to you where you want to invest from there, although those two cryptocurrency are both good, and they are like a king and queen of cryptocurrency.

It may better for you to divide your amount into some parts. i guess just put a half to the bitcoin and the rest for ethereum will be much better i think. This time the chart of both cryptocurrencies look the same. I guess ethereum will better consider from its usefulness and future roadmap.

Your teaser I suppose is very interesting! Ethereum is good altcoin that has plenty room for upward price increase. Bitcoin also will grow though to average people it seem expensive. I would hold bitcoin and expect bitcoin would do well, may be not in term of price increase like Ethereum!

If I am in a position like you, I tend to choose 60% ethereum and 40% in bitcoin. The reason is because the fluctuations of ethereum do not panic, the ups and downs are not too drastic or more stable.

Well both coins are good investments but i will choose bitcoin than ethereum because holding bitcoin is still the best option for me since bitcoin is very volatile and also, we witnessed the rise of bitcoin tlast year and some experts say that bitcoin will rise even higher as the supply decreases although ethereum has the stabilty which is very good for holders who want their money safe

In this case you surely keep ETH. ETH will be between 2500-5000$ in the year end.  In the year end you can get roughly 375K.

if you only buy eth,btc to hold I think you should 60% btc and 40% eth,they 2 strongest coin in the exchange,thte market change follow eth and btc,i think eth and btc the same

If you have enough amount on your pocket, then i suggest that you better buy additional 1 or 2 altcoins to diversify your assets, so try to divide it like 50 percent bitcoin 30 percent ethereum and rest is for other top rated crypto. This is a conservative advice but just make a set of  which of them is your priority both eth and btc are good choice of investment. You can follow others advice but it all depends on how long can you hold.

Yes ! They are almost the same in case of value or price in current market's situation today but it depends on holding until  DEC 2018, i will choose 9.5 btc because bitcoin has a higher value than eth, it has so many investors, and Bitcoin is the best cryptocurrency for long term trading and investments.

The better way i think you should to be split off, like 50/50 or whatever ratio you find reasonable. As me i will holding with 70 percent ETH and and the rest is BTC

I prefer bitcoin. because all already know how the development of bitcoin than ethereum. maybe 2 or 3 years longer ethereum will approach bitcoin. but it all depends on how the market receives from bitcoin or ethereum

I think it's better to keep the ethereum. Its price has been greatly reduced, and it should increase by 3-4 times by the end of the year

according to my analysis it is better to hold in bitcoin form, because by the end of 2018 bitcoin will experience an increase in demand, but prioritize its own prediction.

I think ethereum holding is better once ethereum pump starts it may cross 1000$ . But the same time investing bitcoin is better for long term because its having limited supply . As long as world shows interst towards crypto currency till that bitcoin will be undisputed king .  So because of this 21 million limited supply bitcoin value may worth more in future.

Remember if
Bitcoin Up = Alt Down
Bitcoin Down = Alt Down
Bitcoin stable = Alt UP
So now you know what to choose instead?

This isn't always the case though there can be times if Bitcoin gains value the same thing goes with alts but this doesn't happen most of the times. Also if Bitcoin loses value not all alts would go down or suffer the same path as Bitcoin. I remember the time where Bitcoin lost value and Bitcoin Cash started pumping then a lot of people and miners went crazy over the movement.

If I had to pick one I would go for Ether since OP mentioned that he'll be holding his investments until December of this year.
