Well, to be honest I think that Ethereum has more chances to double the price than bitcoin but these both get increased together with a small difference, sometimes bitcoin goes higher than ethereum in % change.
If I were you I would split the balance half in ethereum and half in bitcoin, if they both go higher at the same level then you are safe, but if one goes higher than the other then you are in profit.

you must answer some question before buying this coins:
1- are you newbie or no?
2- are you holder or you are trader?
3- do you have strategy or no?

if you are newbie, i suggest you buy only BTC and also if you are holder buy BTC, if you are professional trader, you know that you must invest on BTC about 50-70% of your money. and trade with other 30-50%. also if you are holder for long term for example for the end of 2019 suggest you to buy ETH.

of course I would choose the Ethereum. It's not the Ethereum 150 figure is small, so with the newer development of the Ethereum able to become its own advantage by having many Ethereum as the main advantage at this time.

Dec 2018 is almost here. Eth price went down so bad but i don’t know what will happen till the end of the year. I mean, when it comes to crypto market, everything seems so possible for me. There is still a chance for us to see better prices

Every time BTC is better than Eth. But the reason is now Eth value is the bottom level. If you lucky will Eth 200$ to 1000$, it will better than from holding Btc. the btc price will depend on ETF.

Worth more than that and keep up to December 2018 i think Bitcoin is because we will do the calculation like this. 1BTC = $ 25,000 with 1ETH = $ 1,000 if the price is right in December. And now 1BTC = $ 6,500, 1 ETH = $ 215, then we know Bitcoin or ETH value and potential. I choose Bitcoin as perfect as well as profitable.

It depend on what you are looking at. Do you want stability or profit. Bitcoin provides stability and steady increase in valuation while ethereum can flunctuating decrease in value exponentially.
