We've been gambling professionals for over a decade. While some other bitcoin sportsbooks are syndicating prices from other books (eg Bitbook from Pinnacle and Bitcoinlivebets from Bwin), we manage our own book and control our own risk. Our prices move (and odds adjust) as money comes in, and limits increase as liquidity increases.

You will find that the limits are highest right before an event begins, as prices are most accurate, markets most liquid, and we can take the greatest risk.

To be clear - you can't bet 50 BTC on all events at all times - only on some events (major events such as NFL, NBA, EPL, etc) and only at some times (typically right prior to kickoff), where we have high liquidity and can afford the risk. However, we hope to further increase these limits in coming months.

It doesn't, that's not how you prove things in bitcoin. It feels noobish to need to tell what you have to do, but here it goes: grab one or more addresses you own and sign a message with them, paste the results here together with the addresses so we can check you own them and can pay that amount.
