This is a difficult question.  It seems to me that eth at least will cost like btc.  And if everything goes well, then more.

Do not look at the price look at the market cap, for ethereum to have the very same price as bitcoin its market cap will need to be many times above that of bitcoin, the circulating supply of bitcoin is 17 million coins while ethereum is close to 100 million, so for both coins to have the very same price ethereum will have to have a market cap more than five times larger than bitcoin and that is impossible.

I really think that bitcoin will be higher than ethereum in 2020 but we will never know what will happen. I really like ethereum a lot than bitcoin, transaction fee is lower, more faster sending and receiving than bitcoin and most ICO are based on ethereum. It will have a higher chance to overtake bitcoin but I think that bitcoins will still be the number 1. If more and more people will use ETH as their primary coin, it can overtake bitcoin, but as of now, there is a minimal chance.

It is very difficult to guess ,I think, that bitcoin will remain the most popular and strong coin even in 2020 .but Ethereum does not seem to be even in top 3. After all ,now there are many different coins that can come close to them.

I think that bitcoin will remain at the top of the list until 2020 and for the following years. Bitcoin being the king of crypto will keep on rising, of course because of it being popular through out the world. It continues to gain support as the years go by, it won’t let anything reach the top easily.
