I doubt that Russia will allow its citizens to use crypto currency without state control. And the government can use tokens to circumvent international sanctions.

Hey guys, what do you think about the last news from Russia? Russian government will legalize crypto! Do you think it will pump market again?
They ordered to accept the bitcoin but they taxed it. This is a great strategy from the government. Because you can not stop people from trading crypto because this is an anonymous market.
It will definitely affect the Crypto market but not much. I hope the Russians will make the market better after a few years. Grin

It is really a good news. New investors will join now and it will help crypto to grow its flow of development.

And again, Russia will never accept crypto-currencies. And the topic is old.

yes if that happens it will definitely have a positive impact on the market. but Russia is a very developed economy, if Russia accepts Crypto surely all countries will participate. but I'm not sure it will happen.

The Russian government carries out active actions for introduction of new taxes in the country from this point of view legalization of cryptocurrencies and the subsequent taxation of this branch it is quite real.

Russia does not have an independent economic system and it is integrated into the global financial system, so it can't take independent decisions. All similar news is fake.

Fundamentally disagree with you, cryptocurrencies imply anonymity and decentralization, no control of the state in this regard will not. Are you saying that the government will build a shadow economy with its own hands? Then they will not receive any taxes at all. This will never happen. But to catch all crypto anarchists and send to cultivate Siberian land - that the government will do in the first place.

The new version of the Russian draft law "On digital financial assets" does not define the concept of "cryptocurrency", and mining is classified as the release of tokens to attract investment in capital.  The amended draft law also does not regulate transactions with cryptocurrencies and DOES NOT PROVIDE for their legalization, and focuses on it in operations with tokens. https://iz.ru/790431/tatiana-gladysheva/kriptovaliuty-ushli-iz-zakonoproekta-o-maininge And this is only a project that can not be accepted at all, because of the position of the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank.

The Russian government will never allow its people to legally use cryptocurrency, because it gives some freedom. Bitcoin and other tokens the government will be able to use only to circumvent international sanctions, finance international terrorism and drug convictions through diplomatic mail.

This will be a serious step both for Russia and for the crypto-currency market. I hope this is true and soon the information will be confirmed.

Russia is a large country in terms of area, but small in population. Only 144 million inhabitants are 43% of the US population. And the incomes of the population are lower than in the USA 5 times. This characterizes Russia as an uninteresting investor for crypto space. But Russia has a big political weight in world politics. The news that the law regulating relations between the state and cryptography in Russia will soon be adopted will largely affect the overall picture of world cryptography. The revival of the crypto market will take place actively.

As far as I know, the news about this bill was about six months ago, but so far there is no new information. Either they are preparing a draft law and are silent so far to submit it quickly for consideration, or Russia is now too busy with pension reform.

Yes, the news is out of date.  This, of course, is well legalized.  But this is unprofitable for the government and the Central Bank.  Therefore, I think in the near future, this will not happen.

I think they accept crypto already because I saw the news before that they are planning to make their digital coin for their country Russia. and I assure you all countries will embrace crypto or rather the blockchain technology because its not the monetary system that it will change but also many industries or businesses will change if they adapt the crypto and its blockchain technology in their businesses. Blockchain technology is the next internet.

Last April, yeah, the market hasn't really pumped has it?

This whole year people have been saying that so and so news will help pump the market and after this date the market will take off.

I remember the biggest buzz was about Consensys 2018 (the huge crypto conference), and nothing happened.
Then people were like, after World Cup!
...and nothing happened.

Now peopel are saying that last year october is when btc started making its spectacular run to 15k so it will happen again.

...it won't happen.
I can say this with confidence because we are coming off of an incredible, unstable bubble market situation from last jan.
The growth was absolutely insane and the result is a prolonged correction as the market stabalizes and matures.
Yeah, so just hodl for now
