Bitcoin was supposed to be used as a currency, not only a form of investment. However, it's been more successful as a form of investment, a "speculative asset".

Do you guys think that this can change in the long term ?

the main purpose of bitcoin being the current world currency has failed, as it is impossible to divide 21,000,000 BTC for the whole world.
but currently bitcoin has a bigger purpose.

as well as the fiat currency we deposit in the bank after the specified time period we will benefit from the deposit whether it is also not an asset in the real currency, for me the same system but different shapes, the possibility of future deposits also use crypto currency

For the moment bitcoin is only used as an online exchange tool, or as an asset if one has bitcoin. Bitcoin can be used as a currency if the bitcoin price is stable, no one can determine whether the future of bitcoin will be good or not, everything that determines only from ourselves, and I believe that bitcoin in the future is recognized by all countries as currency

I do not think that it has failed, but there are too many people only buying bitcoin for the sake of making more money, and that is one of the reasons of why it is not considered as a pure 100% currency like the united states dollar, or euro

I agree with you. Because I still believe that bitcoin will be the most popular digital money in the future. And most of people will use it for doing daily shopping.

I consider what you say is true.
but you need to know, that everything can not be done in a short time, all require a process. the development of bitcoin is currently heading to a better level. we just need to fight for and support it so that it can come true.

Bitcoin didn't fail as a currency. There are a lot of people who think that bitcoin is dying, that bitcoin is a scam. They all think that because the price of Bitcoin isn't as good as before.Becouse the price of Bitcoin use to be 15k dollars and now it's 6k dollars that doesn't mean it's dying.

I agree with both of you, nowadays people will really enjoy using crypto as a form of investment since they are earning from it more that they are earning from investing in banks, so they prefer putting their money here.

Look at all the cryptocurrencies, none of them are used as a currency nowadays. In early days, people mined Bitcoin and used them as a currency, but as soon as they saw that it has volatile price they saw it as an investment. That mind set isn't going to change, as long as people can make profit off of Bitcoin, it will be used as an asset.

this must be changed in long term if the btc would be loyal to its mission. Being an asset furthermore a speculative asset does not bring us a full adoption of btc as a way of payment.

We all know thay bitcoin is a digital currency and it's the fastest way to pay people or send money to somone by clicking on your mobile phones, laptop or computer. No matter where you are as long as you have your internet. But we can't use a bitcoin as a currency in this generation because bitcoin cannot support our daily needs.I think this is a Hold token thinky. You must wait more time and you must have more patience to wait for the highest value of your token. So,you can't wait have money everyday by using bitcoin. It takes time.

I don't buy the idea that bitcoin has failed as a currency. Bitcoin is doing all that a currency is suppose to do. What makes me believe that bitcoin has not failed as a currency is the fact that, bitcoin cannot be spent twice,i.e bitcoin that was spent few hrs ago cannot be spent again. Once it is spent, it is gone and would never come back. This makes bitcoin a currency and not failire as a currency.

Bitcoin is not failed as a currency. We just need to hope that bitcoin will rise again. It's just part of the life of the bitcoin. It goes down and goes up. It will be back and make the people use of the bitcoin as a currency. I'm just waiting for it and hoping that it will be soon.

I do not have a general prediction with you. My personal opinion is that Bitcoin has a huge potential for becoming a currency. I made this prediction based on the potential of Bitcoin and what it has done. Actually Bitcoin has been used in many transactions and it makes this process faster and safer.
