My My! 216 ETH till now.
That could be worth half a million in coming time.
I hope for no further losses of other people and encourage everyone to always be updated with the news and try alternative and more secure ways to store cryptos.

I am glad that i stumbled upon this thread because i am beginning to transfer from myetherwallet.com to idex just right before i read this but fortunately i didn't attempt to open the website after seeing this topic. Public DNS like 8.8.8.8 are vulnerable to attack and phishing, that's why i never used this public DNS for my internet. I hope the MEW had corrected this issue.

Great!!  Shocked every minute lots of ETH is being stolen right now. And it looks like this process won't be finished at all. Thank you for this information. Really unpleasant thing.  Angry Even do not know how to use it in future and wheather to use MEW at all. Hope it will not take so long to solve the problem.

I know the information about the MEW hack but not worry because I do not leave money in the wallet MEW that only temporarily to transfer to Coinbase only. But what is the use of Google's 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 DNS lead to be hacked? Can you explain more to me with people understand?

These reports are very annoying. I don't like such news. I hope too many people won't be victims. There must be a solve now.

This is the benefit of being active in the forum because you are always updated on things like this. Fortunately, I did not log into my etherwallet. One tip I can share you, always bookmark those true websites.

I do not believe that this ethereum wallet can be hacked. Most likely the owner with the help of phishing sites gave his private keys. In other ways, the etherium wallet can not be hacked.

The hacked MEW wallet is a shock to investors in the market cryptocurrencies. Hacker has intruded into the DNS system to manipulate the number of cryptos in the wallet of users, the number of ETH lost to the number 215: (So avoid the hacking of MEW wallet, people should not store cryptos in e-wallets, should use hardware wallets to avoid risk.

I do not think that with the official MEW site, something happened, most likely a phishing site or another virus. But for complete clarity, you must of course remember all the actions that were done before the problem appeared and only then start from this. I think it's better not to rush to check everything is in order with your tokens or not, let time pass and if it turns out that this is just a failure, it's good. A couple of days you can wait.

For all that time, while I was in the crypto-currency world, there were already a lot of reports that MEW was hacked, but so far no one can hack this site, so today's rumors are just rumors for me, the most important threat can only be your oversight.

I was about to login later today to make a transaction, but I'm worried now.
Is there any announcement yet from MEW officials regarding the issue? Until they confirms the hack and a guideline of safety we will be in WorryLand.

Thanks for informing us, we have to be more careful while accessing our MEW. But I think we have to avoid some period to access our wallet & before accessing we have double check that our connection is secure or not?

I think we have to use hardware wallet which is more reliable.
