There are lots of means to secure your funds..... But still yet the safety of all is up to you. Mew wallet is also secure if you don't give out your private key on phishing site. So you need to be extra careful.... For more security I think hardware will be one of the best options.

I think it's safe to store Eth on hardware wallets such as Ledger Wallet, there are some other ways too but that its advisable to use a tool that is well understood and can be used with confidence.

That's why the best place to store your cryptocurrencies is on hardware wallets such as ledger or trezor. Don't hesitate to get yourself one, online wallets are vulnerable to all kinds of attacks now adays

yes you are right I used to use myetherwallet to send and store ethereum along with some erc20 tokens that work together and created from smart contract ethereum because by storing it in myetherwallet I think it is very safe and comfortable.

There is no complete safety, you can not be 100% sure of anything. But you can follow security measures, thanks to which the protection of your money will become more reliable. Use purses of cold storage, use licensed antiviruses, carefully monitor the settings of the router.

The safest place for this is LEDGER. I keep all the coin here. I'm comfortable inside. I sleep comfortably in the evening. I suggest you buy LEDGER. We can not trust the stock exchange.

Etherum can be stored blockchain.info it quite safe with two factor security. But mostly etherum can be stored safely in IM token wallet if the private was not disclosed to second patties

it's just question between convenience and safety: u may use a full wallet which is more secure or some online (mew) service.

Couple of DNS servers were hijacked to resolve http://myetherwallet.com users to be redirected to a phishing site. This is not on @myetherwallet side, we are in the process of verifying which servers to get it resolved asap.

The best place to store any crypto currency will be a hardware wallet like Ledger Nano or Trezor . If you want to be more safe then buy two ledger nano S and save them in two different locations so that in-case there are any natural calamities you can still have your back up copy  Smiley
Stay safe and good luck .

If you do not want to do ETH trading then use hardware wallet to hold ETH I think is the safest. In addition, investors can also keep ETH on Metamash and mycrypto.com, which are encouraged to use to keep ETH and ERC20-based coins.

Hardware wallets like Trezor and Ledger Nano are one of the safest to store Ethereum and ERC20 token. You will own your private keys and it is almost impossible to hack them.

I don't think this is a fault of My Ether Wallet as they have no control over the hijacked DNS Servers. However, the best place to keep our ETH and Tokens safe remains the hardware wallet. Hackers are improving in their ways of accessing digital wallets and stealing tokens, hence an hardware wallet could be safe enough.

One of the safest way of storing crypto assets, as mentioned before, would be hardware wallet like Trezor and Ledger Nano. Holding private keys is a priority and that must be the first goal for safe holding ethereum.

I use Ledger hardware wallet. But I also use MEW. It's simple and convenient to use. And for the safety and security of coins in our wallet we must try to follow simple rules: don't go on suspicious links, don't tell anyone your private key. I honestly don't understand who is sharing such sensitive information, with whom and for what. Maybe only with relatives.

Until now I no need any hardware wallet but my ETH and tokens in my MEW are still fine. The problem is that you guys need to keep privatekey safe at first and don't forget to bookmark MEW website to avoid accessing to a fake MEW website. I've used MEW since last year until now and everything is still fine except ETH transaction is increasing day by day Smiley).
