I usually use Myetherwallet to store my ETH. I have not had a problem with hackers ever using it. But if you want more safety. It is best to buy and use  Ledger nano s. This will ensure absolute safety for your ETH as well as other coins

You can search on internet for bitcoin hacker. They are hacking and stealing our tokens from high quality trade sites. Also you must protect them. You can keep your coins on your offline base!!!

Couple of DNS servers were hijacked to resolve http://myetherwallet.com users to be redirected to a phishing site. This is not on @myetherwallet side, we are in the process of verifying which servers to get it resolved asap.
You need to store your ETH in some hardware wallet of you want to keep them secure as online wallets are prone to hacks. MEW is now losing trust because of hacks and investors loosing money.Ledger,Trezor,Electrum are one of the best wallets to secure your coins. You can also try exchanges like Coinbase or Binance as they are also best for it.

myetherwallet, trezor, or even at coinbase
they are all safe there as long as you are not sharing anything to anyone with your privacy to access the wallet/

I think the purse MEW or wallet on the big exchanges and prestige as Bittrex. I usually hold 50% ETH in my wallet MEW and 50% in the exchange. I think that is an effective method. We can just hold and can trade at any time

I think that it's best to keep the Ethereum in the MEW or in an hardware wallets. Therefore, if you have a lot of ETH, hakers can find out about it..

When we want our ethereum funds to be secured, I think it is good to stock them on the crypto exchanges where/which requires 2FA code or other confirmation process before requesting deposits or withdrawals. In this case, we can assure that our ethereum is safe unless the hackers have the code for confirmation but if not, our ether and other altcoins are safe.

Until now I no need any hardware wallet but my ETH and tokens in my MEW are still fine. The problem is that you guys need to keep privatekey safe at first and don't forget to bookmark MEW website to avoid accessing to a fake MEW website. I've used MEW since last year until now and everything is still fine except ETH transaction is increasing day by day Smiley).
Most people who use MEW are to store tokens obtained from bounty campaign, airdrop or keeping up of ICO project. In general they store ETH disebuah exchange or on local exchange. In terms of security MEW has a strong security system, because it has private keys that are hard to find by hackers, but hackers have a little gap through phishing web.

A glance phishing web has the exact same features with the original site MEW is what causes many people who are deceived and make all tokens they have lost. Howver, I read a lot of information to avoid phishing web by way of bookmarking MEW site, like what you say. So that when I log to MEW site can always be ascertained that the site is not a fake MEW site.

if you use myetherwallet should be careful because there are many cases of theft by hackers that often occur on the wallet mew.
because I think the system applied is still less than the number of phishing that occurred late this.

For me the only wallet that i know is myetherwallet. This is my safest online wallet for me because i store my ethereum there and luckily it did not lost since i started doing this crypto work. I hope there will be no problem in storing our ethereum in this wallet. But in order to avoid hacking our wallet, we need to keep secretly our private keys. That is the most important thing to do.

I save ETH in Imtoken wallet. Most of the risks that occur when the smartphone is lost or stolen. To anticipate it always keep the private key or jason filesnya elsewhere. so we can still reopen it using another device. With the case at MEW yesterday makes us more careful in storing our digital assets, because at any time we can lose if there is a hijack of our account. So wherever the place will be risky too. Maybe someone can provide another solution.
The safest way to store your Ether, is to use hardware wallets like Ledger and Trezor. With a hardware wallet, you will always need this hardware to access your Ether, making it more secure.

MEW often do phishing sites. It is necessary to check every time the name of the site in the address bar. To avoid getting caught by scammers.

I do not think that you use the etherium purse every day for your actions and at the same time use different technical means. so for a long time already in your device should be saved the correct link myetherwallet, which you must trust and constantly use it.

blockchain.info is a good online place for holding your ETH, i think. Because they have really working IP detection and safe 2-FA authorization. But surely you can`t send any ERC20 coins on it..beware!

I completely agree with you that there is nothing better than a hardware purse. In any case, this way of storing its crypto currency has very strong advantages in safety and convenience.
