How much of an increase is considered as a "bull market"

We cannot exactly say what will happen in Bitcoin price but one thing is for sure that it will rise up again. We just need to be patient and wait for the bull run. Dips are normal in trading so we just keep calm and don't panic. Just hold your Bitcoin and wait for the price to increase again.
It is already rising up as far as I know. Few weeks ago, it was somewhere near 5k dollars and that was the time when I put my all in persuading people for spending money here but none really paid attention. Even now is the chance to invest in bitcoin and earn 20 to 40 grand by the end of this year. Bitcoin is destined to shock the whole world once more. Bitcoiner are about to get rich.

Well as of now it begins though you can see that the bull are already running,  and by the gradually decrease of bitcoin no doubt it will pump up though , it will be a huge run for the market.
But overall we expect the unexpected though.

I think it's not as simple as just an increase in the price, there are other factors in my opinion. lately I have noticed that most news are positive and talking about bitcoin in a positive way, I also noticed that the market cap is increasing and that people are joining more. however I don't think we can say that we bullish just yet. we need more time with this level of growth
I feel people always misconstrue a bull market to a bull run. A bull market does not necessarily mean the market will be moving in a fast pace upward, it could be a slow movement upward where we see the trend going gradually and some little corrections in between which like some people have stated as higher highs and higher lows, and when we are having a rally or a run, this is just exactly as it sounds, a run! A fast pace movement with a high level increase in price daily which is always considered at times as too good to be true.

Generally speaking, a bull market happens when prices rise by 20 percent, usually after a drop of 20 percent and before a 20 percent decline. Since they are difficult to predict, bull markets can typically only be recognized once they’ve happened.
Well that said it does not apply in the Crypto market as the crypto market is very volatile but the bull run is said when the market is on the rise for more than a month and at a overall rise in market of minimum 50% (percent can be argued to even higher degree). But as seen in past the Bull run went upto 300% to 1000%, so the upper limit is out of the discussion for time being. Smiley

I take this as a good answer although I have something else in my mind before I have read this. Grin
Merits for the effort and good explanation.

I thought as long as the market is going up and you see green lights then it is a bull run.  Grin Anyway, 20 percent is a large one and I think it should be considered as a bull.

Bull market isn't defined by the percentage increase. A market is said to be bullish if almost all the tokens show positive gains and there is a significant increase in volume. Also, the price shouldn't just increase ridiculously. There should be an interval of periodic correction of low magnitude to give price a decent support line. Usually the starting of bull phase is euphoric, then the momentum falls a bit and this is the phase when we see a momentarily correction which is again followed by a massive pump.

You can see that the market has seen signs of recovery in the past few days, bitcoin and altcoin prices are rising, market capitalization has surpassed 400 billion dollars. So I think that at this point you should trade altcoin will be able to get much profit and very safe when the market is in a rising trend.

I advise you not to be subjective at this moment, can see that the market in the past few days are showing signs of recovery and is growing very strong, can see that this is uptrend in the short term. So you should not be subjective, in the long term the bitcoin price is still in the cycle so you should withdraw money when the profit.

How much of an increase is considered as a "bull market"
Each person has its own definition of what it is a bull market to me it is not about how big is the growth, to me is about the tendency, it is about seeing a continuous growth of a considerable size for a prolonged period of time, for example the last months of the previous year were clearly a bull market, we saw extraordinary growth and it lasted for months and to me that fits my definition.

There is no such reference or a category where you can refer a trend as a bull or a bear market. People will just call it a bull or a bear depending how it affects the whole crypto market. As you know, most or almost all the top 500 coins and tokens were red during the bear market and during the bull you can see everything is green.

How much of an increase is considered as a "bull market"
it depends pal how long the bull market will last .which is like what happened last year the price rocketed to the ATH value " 20k." because of being popular without any negative issue ,so the price constantly rise. So it depends on the circumstances of the market, and perhaps on this situation the bull trend will not go further because of some factors nowadays IMO.

yes, we should know about this so we can try to recover our balance too and reach our profit again. by doing trade altcoin in the recovery moment, we can make a profit and I think it's not just about how much the percentage that we should know because once the price recover, it will reach higher and maybe the percentage is more than 10%.

I think it is not sure but some predictions are counted, When bitcoin or all market will go to the Bull then there are maximum chances an increase the market with more then 100% , some coins are increasing too much when market condition in Bull condition,

Let's break it down a little further:

Quote
What is a 'Bull Market'
A bull market is a financial market of a group of securities in which prices are rising or are expected to rise. The term "bull market" is most often used to refer to the stock market but can be applied to anything that is traded, such as bonds, currencies and commodities.

Source: https://www.investopedia.com/terms/b/bullmarket.asp

The tricky part is that how can we say that crypto market is on a bull run when the price keeps on fluctuating? For me as long as the price is going on the green zone then we are in a bull run or bull market. Crypto really defies definitions as far as the financial market is concern. So sometimes its a borderline case, that's why its really hard say when we are in a bull run or not.

It's not the quantity of price increase it's increase in volume. For bull market we need more buy orders with higher volumes.
This explanation captures it for me. I always look at volume both in trades and exchanges before I buy in or register. Volume is key because it alerts you of what coins investors are putting their money on. Low volume means lack of interest and that will bring about low buy orders. With that, the bulls trend won't start.

While this is highly subjective, I think it is best to weigh things objectively- meaning, we have to base it on data. Like for instance, take down notes on how the market is doing since the beginning of the quarter in 2019. This way, we are able to figure how the market is- whether it be stable, inclining or declining. You know, in times like these, it is us who are in the better position to figure if we are on a bullish or bearish market. And our answer to such should be based on sound judgment nothing less.

Based from my past experience, some alts pumped up to 3x of its current price. That is 300% or higher. Then it is followed by a sudden crash. So you need to know when to buy and when to sell. You must know where is the floor and when is the ceiling. Learn the basic of chart reading.

I don't think that there is any specified percentage to call it a Bull or bear market. We have to consider the fundamental analysis to determine it. I have seen some alt-coin rising 50% and falling 60% within hours (most of them were part of pump and dump scheme) but the main thing is the reason why the price is rising or falling. We had a price rally in the last quarter of the last year and market correction in the first quarter of this year. This was a result of the involvement of the big whales and institutional investors and it created the panic situation in the market in both the cases.

Entire crypto market is bull market, rising technology that`s have more and more followers, thus more and more money is being pumped into. Like always its all about point of view, you can call entire market bull market if you watch period from beginning of crypto until now, its bear if you judge by the last ath and price now. If your view have just last 3 days in sight then you are in bull/bear market everyday cause of the constant fluctuation.

Although the market itself is bullish, it doesn't mean that every individual cryptocurrency/token will be profitable. In fact when the market really matures most top cryptos will die since they have no product or application and some of them are literally just copies of bitcoin or other well established coins.
