If you forget your bitcoin wallet password, you can recover it; just make sure that you know all the information you have input so that if it is required; you will be able to get your account back.

Recently many people who bought bitcoin years ago find themselves sitting on an untouchable bounty. Those lucky guys who purchased or mined just a few bitcoins at the start of the age of cryptocurrency nowadays can boast about their savings. However, some of them are now in a painful limbo, because they can't remember the complex security passwords needed to get to their bitcoin wallet. Unlike a bank, bitcoin has no central hotline to call for a reset. This is really a bad thing,it's like forgetting a bank account password, but there's no bank to call to reset it. That money is lost forever. That might be a lot of money at today’s exchange rate.

Actyally, this bad thing happened to me last year, and my friend recommend  this website:http://recovermybtc.com/ to me,she said she has retrieved her bitcoin wallet password through it,and I download this software,it really works after I used it,and you need to pay some service fee to them, but it's not high.Somebody who lost their bitcoin password can make a try, good luck.
very helpful, but rather than fixing, it is better to prevent. try to write the password in the book or ms word, so we can always see when we forget.

The first thing you should do when lost password bitcoin wallet is contact support from the manager of the wallet that you register to regain the account. You should also use a hard wallet to protect your crypto assets. Do not open links with bad content on the internet because it is very susceptible to the virus stealing account information. Be careful because you can lose money at any time.

It's a safe and trusty website and you can download the software and testing it through the anti-virus website: https://www.virustotal.com/#/home/upload

It Kinda sound scary knowing that you may never recover your investment, however if going by some of the posts on this thread that it is possible to recover it after all, then i would say that it is a good thing. probably one has to thread with caution when trying to recover, especially when it is from a third part website not the original coin provider. please for the benefit of newbies like us. those on the know should kindly share the said website. one can never be so sure of what will happen on this journey in the crypto verse.

Sometimes this question comes to my mind too.
As much as we are trying to make our password safe enough from scam. We still must be very careful not to forget or lost the password.
It would be a very painful thing.
Especially for those who have much in their wallet.
But unfortunately, I don't think there is a remedy than to re request for new password and forgo their valued token

That is the very important thing in this industry most especially when you have online and offline wallets, you have to keep your private key in many folders and files so that it will not be stolen or be taken away from you, because I have this one experience that my friend used to forgot his private key and all of his hard work was wasted. So for me the best thing to do is to put your keys on many files and keep it to yourself.

I think that will be the biggest regret in you life when you forget your bitcoin wallet password because that wallet is the most important thing when you are working here in bitcoin. That is the biggest problem that comes to your life because for me there's no way to restore it or to get again it if you lost it.

Passwords are the most important part of your encrypted world. I think the missing password is very bad, which is usually difficult to retrieve your digital assets, so my most important thing is to save a good password or a password file, as much as Bei as much as possible.

For bitcoin wallet holders who have forgotten their passwords, all may not be as bad as it seems.

Yes that is not that bad because it is your fault if you forgotten that there are a lot of ways to save you passwords so even if you forget it you can still have a copy if it. I admit that all of my accouts all over the internet not all of them i remember the passwords but i have a memo and a diary or a kotebook to me exact that contains all of my accounts passwords because that is my responsibility to have a copy of it. So if you forgot it i think there are Still some recovery stage in some wallet providers that you are registered in

Is this service safe? I mean, are your accounts safe? Knowing that these kind of services do actually exist so maybe they could also retrieve your wallets information then take it eventually?. I also happened to forgot my password and I have lost my coins along with it, now that you have suggested that service can I really retrieve my password?. If this is true then it would be a great help!.

I have done my best in order not to face such situation. I hope that you will do like this too because it will be a pity just to forget the password. I save my password in several places to protect my data

then you will lose the most valuable asset you ever had because bitcoin is a very expensive digital currency if you lose access then you will incur huge losses.

in bitcoin we should be careful in maintaining the password of the wallet because it is a very important thing and do not let you forget your password, if you forget then the bitcoin you have in the wallet will be a treasure and will be difficult to recover

As long as you have the back up phrase then that will become your key to be able to gain access to your wallet again because that will reset your wallet and you can set the new password again but if you don't have the back up phrase then that will mess all the things up and that will become the reason for you to lose all your funds.
