I signed up for this one, everybody recommends it. I will get rich soon Tongue

You know, you can get even twice more rich if you roll at freedoge.co.in also  Wink After you get rich in doge - you can trade them for bitcoins at bitin.io or at shapeshift.io  Wink

It has always been amusing to me why people are still using all these strange exchanger services when you could with no hassle register at any decent exchange out there and convert your coins at true price without paying weird fees...

Shapeshifter.io is owned and funded by some pretty prominent Bitcoiner folks.

Does that somehow make it worth your money that some prominent folks are behind these services? I think their target audience are people who are new to the cryptocurrency world and simply don't yet know about overwhelmingly better facilities to exchange their coins...

With the number of thefts we see in this new little economy I think it is important to get good and solid ppl paid well.

Esp for the noobs.  More noobs = more customer service which equals more man hours I suppose.

We have had a number of people say in the Just-dice troll box the only reason they have CLAMS is because of Shapeshifter.

I second this. So many bad players that have been ejected from the space, only after they have committed massive fraud. Even worse, there's still countless bad players in the space that are still active. I see this as one of the biggest detriments to the progress and success of Bitcoin.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Even if they did, is there any way for the website to prove it? Most likely nobody has hit it, it's a faucet after all. There's no need for them to be completely fair since all people want from them is to earn small amounts of bitcoin.

even if they have evidence that someone had shot 10000, I'm still not convinced that it is a valid proof

It is worth it only if you need coin to play around with.  In my mind it is not worth it if you have a job or value your time even somewhat.

so where do i change my dog coins to bitcoins because i found many good dog faucets? you say i get more bitcoins at the exchange.. but i dont want to upload my documents, is there any exchange where i dont need to do this?

https://shapeshift.io/#

They do BTC, CLAM, ect ect

No account or anything like that. Quick n easy.

Is this trusted? And whether there had ever been successful doing it and doing transaction there? Somehow I was a little worried to do that.
it is a trusted website. and it has been around for some time now. the good thing is that it is fast and you only pay the miners fee with no exchange fee, or service fee.

Well, in my opinion, freebitco.in is only worth it if you have quite some time on your hands and want a very small amount coins. It has been around for quite a while, so you can have some sense of trust in it (maybe).

I agree, you can only make a decent amount of money by getting lucky. On the other hand, the few satoshis that you'll usually get can be useful for a beginner to play with and to test out the Bitcoin system (how to send transactions, etc.). But if you are looking to get rich, then pretty much all faucets, including this one, are a waste of time as you can earn much more by just working a minimum wage job.

It's meant for a person who has just entered into bitcoin to try out how the system works. I'm sure most of us here started from there and that's me me included which I think it's a great place for someone to get free coins and then play around with it. Once you get the hang of it, especially on how the wallets work, it's time to get your own supply

It is always worth if you have a lot of referrals. I personally still solve captchas few times a day. Every 0.01BTC is better than nothing.

The bitcoin generator bot? I'm pretty sure it "collapsed". Such bots are taking advantage of faucets in an exploitative way.

No the person that was selling the bot, Richard Moda, ended up taking some peoples btc and never giving them a bot.

Even the bot is working, i'm sure soon the faucet owner will realize it & improve security
So, in basic bot is totally useless

The bot is not working the owner of freebitcoin banned all the account created with bots. there will be one or other ways to exploit even though they improve security, tech keeps on improving..

I take it that 10k has not been rolled yet? I've for the most part looked through this thread, but I don't see any mention of anybody hitting anything big from it.
