I take it that 10k has not been rolled yet? I've for the most part looked through this thread, but I don't see any mention of anybody hitting anything big from it.

The CoinAd owner said somewhere around here that he had thousands of referrals at freebitco.in at the time, and no one of them came even close to hitting 10k...

I bet he don't care either. He's probably making 0.1 a week or better just from the referral system they have in place. Thats still not a bad income for nothing. But surely it has to be hit sometime, if it is a fair game that is, and I do think it is.

Exact. That's the only way to actually make any money with these kind of sites - to have many referrals.

freebit/doge is only worth it if you make it passive. If you manage to get ~100+ active people under you it's a nice bonus I guess. I use freedoge while waiting in LoL queue, wouldn't waste a single second for it otherwise.

I seldom login to my account anymore, but I still get passive income from the ref's I accumalated over time. These days it's pretty much frowned on to spam your ref link on forums, so I use Freebitco.in banner ad's to spam my ref links for different things.

There are better ways to make money, but a faucet is worth it, when you start out and it generates enough passive income when you have ref's.

Let's say a faucet pays 700 Satoshi's and you have 1 ref, paying you 50% commision... Your 700 + 350 from ref = 1050 Satoshi per hour... So with ref's it becomes a viable option.  Wink

freebitco.in is the most amazing faucet I've ever earned . It is also among the faucet longest and most effective so far. 850 satoshi per hour is not bad at the moment. I think it is the best place to start for a newbie about Bitcoin Crypto Currency.
And perhaps no one hit "10,000" or even "9998-9999" Wink
I have signed up there over a year and have rolled at least 500 times , but only once hit "9995" .

i think that someone has already won that amount, if you see in the top ten there are people with many bitcoin, i doubt they all come from the gambling game

also you have 1/10k chance to win it, if 10k people are playing it, then 1 of those 10k person will hit the 10k

Absolutely not. The chances are much lower than that. It has already been calculated in the Freebitco.in announcement thread. You may want to search there if you are interested to find out the real probability to hit 10k...

Not that much of time if you keep some in separate tabs at work and spend a few seconds every hour for rolling, you know, just in case of 10000.
I know I'll hit it one day... Been rolling for a lot of times now everyday Tongue

It has become worth it even more now, with the NEW weekly Lottery they built into it now.  Grin

You can choose to enter the lottery with your own money or you can buy lottery tickets with the faucet income you receive from the site. {Brilliant right?}

I regularly use this faucet, because they have a built in "Charity" feature and proof of payment.

Last night, when I checked.. the 1st prize for this week, was standing on close to 2 BTC. { I do not know, if it was funded by the site or from the members buying tickets }

Here is a screen capture : https://i.imgur.com/hM6VXCQ.jpg

To all those "Faucets are a waste of time" people... here is a more detailed explanation to maximize your profit from faucets like these : http://www.bitbiz.io/threads/the-value-of-a-faucet-referral-network.689/

To the lazy people out there, a short summary ... {Use faucet / take faucet earnings / Buy tickets to lottery / increase your chance to win one of 3 prizes}

PS.... Remember to donate a percentage of your income to the charity hosted on the site. {Save the Children}

It's very hard to get referrals today. Faucets like freebitco.in already have a lot of users and not so much new signing up apparently. The only way I imagine is having a dedicated website banners for that, but then again.. don't think it's worth the effort..

I bought around 90+ tickets last week from my two weeks earning. And I have a few +2 tickets from rolling. Did not stand a chance to get the top three. How do they determine the winner? Is it a provably fair game? I would only donate my Bitcoin to animals related charity. So if they partner with a organization such as Hope for paws.. than I might consider donating some satoshi which worth less than 10 cents.

So sad! This profile does not appear as the #1 result (on anonymous) Google searches anymore.

Time to be active on the crypto forums again? Proud to be one of the few Legendary members of the Sparkie Red Dot!

Gonna put this on my resume if I ever join a cryptocurrency/blockchain industry!

Just put new nice websites in your signature.  Like mine for example. Great website!

Freebitcoin is still a rock solid affiliate program thus far.

Freebitco.in has been running for yrs now thats why getting refs is hard, most people already know that collecting faucet is a time waster thus making it harder.
