Yes, I trust this wallet in spite of the fact that there are a lot of negative rumors around it. It seems to me that this wallet remains the most reliable.

It is not dangerous to use MEW as long as you verify the certificate and is sure that u r not using the phishing site. I have used MEW yesterday to send tokens to binance and had no problem.
MEW was not hacked, it had something to do with DNS server and taking users to phishing site - most of the ppl who lost ETH or any tokens were people who ignored the invalid certificate warning.
you are right. as long as we are careful, the sense of mew is really good. Until now, I still use mews to store eth-based altcoins, or something like that. and it's really a nice and instant place. but recently i heard that mew getting a bit of a problem.

The DNS hack only affects MyEtherWallet users that SHARE their private keys to the site. If you practice uploading or broadcasting signed transactions instead of private keys, you will not need to worry about such hacks.

Yes I still used MEW, since it is safe and secured as long as I'm using the Google bookmarks site to be sure and it is so basic and easy to use and it's good if you are used to it.

There is nothing wrong using MEW, at-least for now. After the recent attack, I have used it for many times. I don't see anything suspicious and all my balance are still in my wallet. You should take extra care when you are logging in, such as making sure you are at the right website, using metamask for an extra layer of security and so on.

Correct, any issue regarding hacking of accounts were minimal cases so there's no reasons to panicking. Aside on that those accounts who hacked was under to the custody of the owners so the liabilities were on the hand of the owners too. I cannot see any reasons to pull out the balance or amount to the MEW because this wallet is totally safe because they issued unique private and only owners who's hold that key so it is impossible to get by the intruders. Maybe it is happen if they shared it to the other people.

Ofcourse man, I wont say it is the safest way to store eth, but it is one of the most convenient ways. I have seen people losing 1000s of ETH from MEW. I guess the safety of our coins depend upon how careful we are. I would never keep my coins on online wallet of any sort (long term and big amounts).

I keep using MEW, but after hacking recently I started using Metamask, a simple and safe extension for every transaction, forkdelta and idex can use metamask without import account or private key

I do not use the metamask so far and I did not get the any issue for the fund I have on MEW. I have few tokens on this wallet. Even buzzshow tokens got from the last campaign also on MEW only.
I checked even today I do not have any problem. I suggest you guys to don't use the VPN plug in while accessing to your MEW wallet because IP will be changed and DNS also probably changed mate.

in any system it's natural to have a leak, but MEW is in better repair, we just need to wait for it and let their team work to improve their security system. yanh we need to just be careful in storing something important to be unpublished and to date I still use MEW

That attack could have happened to any other wallet,  buy I believe MEW made a preventive measures against that, but people did not take that measure,  that why they were hacked

With the recent hack, I assume a lot of people will switch to something else, what do you think?

I still recommend using a hardware wallet over the safety benefits though.
I still use this wallet because I do not see him a good alternative, among the good online wallets. Of course cold wallets are cool, but I'm interested in the most secure online wallets

Yes i Use MEW and so far has nothing to complain about. Its a good wallet with fast transaction and supports lots of coins. Its not only effective but also very reliable.MEW is also safe enough if the user observes every safety precaution to keep safe from the hackers

Now I really want to improve the security of my wallet. Also I'm thinking of creating one more wallet for not everyday transactions.
