Yes, but I only use it with my Ledger and highly recommend everyone to do so.

I used to use web wallets all the time and always thought, "Eh, someday I'll get a hardware wallet" but never got around to it.
It wasn't until a close colleague of mine got hacked and had around 20k worth of crypto stolen from his Exodus wallet.
After that, I immediately got one and really love it.
They really aren't that expensive, and if you don't like it there's Trezor also.

My next step is to start putting my coins in long term cold storage.
I already have a safe in my house to store valuables, now I just need to make fancy little paper wallets for all of my coins.
I guess I can just scribble them down on a scratch sheet of paper, but I'm kind of a neat freak.

By the way, there is no excuse for you to say that you don't know how to secure your crypto.
On the MEW website itself it has TONS of warnings and advice.

This might sound cold, but I have no sympathy for those who ignored so many warnings and got their crypto stolen.

I still use it since I use a Trezor. There's no way the private key can be jacked. The feeling of security a hardware wallet provides cannot be over stated.

Yes I still use MEW but I also use metamask, it's because some bounty campaigns require the participants to use metamask, but I also start thinking to leave MEW, it's because of MEW frequently hacked

Is using metamask really safe from hacking? I think to transfer my coin to metamask if it has good security to protect our assets

With the recent hack, I assume a lot of people will switch to something else, what do you think?

I still recommend using a hardware wallet over the safety benefits though.

Yes I still do. Although hardware wallets are really better. I still don't have money to buy a hardware wallet so I still settle for MEW and besides, so far, I haven't experienced losing money despite of the recent hackings before. I just make sure to be updated before accessing my accounts. The reason why I visit this forum a lot is for news. Whenever there are news that MEW will be hacked, I restrain from using it to avoid losing.

I still use myetherwallet because it is easy to use but I use myetherwallet with metamask, I think it is secure using it that way. I use my metamask to login to myetherwallet that way I don't need to put my private key or expose any thing, if I want to send out my coin, I have to confirm it using metamask.

Though mew has some wallet issues lately it doesnt mean it isnt safe to use right now.The hackers did managed to hack the DNs server which the official mew website have used, but it is already fixed by the team of myetherwallet.com which is why it is very much safe as long as it wont happen again and im sure it isnt going to happen as they have learned their mistakes.

Maybe they will, maybe they won't, who knows, I think most people doesn't even know that their server was hacked.
It is safe to use myetherwallet now so I don't see why anyone would use other wallets, use it in combination with metamask, watch links and you will be ok.

Commonly, the MEW wallet is only used as a temporary Token store before being transferred to exchange floors for trade, so I think people will still use the MEW wallet. If you want to hold long-term should use offline hardware wallets like Trezor will be much safer. The DNS hacking also makes people confused and consider using MEW wallet.

I am using trazor hardware wallet because of security issues as every few days we heard a hacking attempt on ethereum wallet and it is a very serious issue. Hardware wallet is 100% safe from all those attacks as only holder of that wallet have control of it.

Of course why wouldnt use it? it is still secured as far as i know the mew wallets arent hacked, but the DNS servers which these websites are using that is why these hackers has managed to redirect those poor users to their phishing websites that required their pwn privatekeys giving them the chance to steal their ethereum and ethereum based tokens.

It would be foolish to still use a web wallet after the recent hack. The risk that everyone faces with web wallets is that they are not in control of when a hack would happen and just a single mistake of the wallet developer and you will end up facing the consequences. Also web wallets are open for hacking and are under constant hack attempts.

I do not think there is a big problem in MEW, unless we do carelessness ourselves, for example, as others can know the private key of our wallet, it is very fatal.

All cryptocurrency wallets are the safest, but whatever wallet we use if we are careless then we will have a big risk
