Yes I still use myetherwallet. The hack was dealt with swiftly and the site was back in no time. I do feel bad that some people lost their coins but it does not change the fact that myetherwallet is one of the best ether wallets out there. What you should just do is use the metatask browser extension as suggested in their site for maximum security.

ACCOUNT RECOVERED 4/27/2020. Account was previously hacked sometime in 2017. Posts between 12/31/2016 and 4/27/2020 are NOT LEGITIMATE.

I still use MEW and I think it's okay unless you don't do which is obviously wrong. In the recent attack the MEW's DNS servers were hacked and thus some users were redirected to a phishing site although they were using the right url address, myetherwallet.com. All they should do to avoid being robbed is they shouldn't ignore the invalid connection certificate and proceed with giving their login information to the hackers.

If you have your money in a wallet, please don't ignore such things as above. Google the issue first before doing anything in the suspicious-looking window.

With the recent hack, I assume a lot of people will switch to something else, what do you think?

I still recommend using a hardware wallet over the safety benefits though.
I still continue to use the MEW. But, now I try to use it less often. Only for sending tokens. I check the balance using telegram bot  Grin Grin Grin

Of course, in my opinion this is one of the most convenient purses for storing the ethereum and erc-20 coins. I wonder why someone refuses it?

With  the recent hacks I imagine some people might start using something else. Though if you take some extra steps it's still safe

All the accounts that were hacked recently were because one of the google servers which hosts MEW got compromised. This was a big security lapse needless to say. If you were using hardware wallets you have nothing to be worried about. What is amazing is that blueprotocol warned about this exact lapse earlier this year and they threatened them with legal action.

Still, MEW is the best for me. It's easy to use and simple rather than another wallet.
But for now, I prefer to login MEW using Metamask instead of private key and json file because it is more safe.
But always stay careful with the phishing website, there are so many of them.

no! after MEW was recently hacked, I use MEW only to send tokens that are already integrated with metamask. I mostly use metamask, because the wallet only requires a password to login, instead of private key! so, in my opinion, metamask is a safe and recommended wallet to use.

Yes, that's day luckily I don't have login Mew with my private key, because of recently Mew hacked, so I start using metamask, no need to type private key everytime, but my first wallet is a hardware wallet, so I no need to worried about my account security even if I visit phishing website

I still use MEW and I am not quite confident, after recent attacks/hacks. I hope that as soon as possible, everything will be sorted out and be more secure for us to store our hard earned crypto coins, of course we need to be more cautious/secure and I want to spend a little extra on my security of keeping my crypto safe and I want to buy hard wallet. I would like people to give me advise on that, I currently look for TREZOR, is there anything better?

I still use mew. It is simple to use and a good place where to hold ETH and ERC-20 tokens as well and does not require any downloads. Most of people who want to hodl erc20  include me use Myetherwallet

I have switched the wallet who I had opened in Myetherwallet to Metamask. It is very easy to do, so after the problem with MEW latest week I have made this decision. It is very easy to switch a wallet to Metamask. This is a good tutorial to do it:
