Until now I still use my MEW account, and I don't have problem at all. Make sure your private key is always secure and always use the address you have in the bookmark.

I use the mew because it is tested and my Altcoins are secure in the mew and not just steal it because my privite key does not steal my altcoin so do not give your privite key so others do not steal empty your altcoin

MEW or MyEtherWallet is still one of the safest wallet in the web browser. MEW requires various ways to be accessed before seeing what's inside the wallet. One good way to access it is Metamask that requires personal password. Accessing it with Private Keys is a bit risky because there are a lot of phishing sites that is created and hackers are getting crafty on how they create these websites.

Yes, of course, I still use MEW until now.
The biggest reason I still use MEW because the system is easy to use and very flexible when used and storage is not limited by time.
Not only me, but many people use MEW as their wallet.

With the recent hack, I assume a lot of people will switch to something else, what do you think?

I still recommend using a hardware wallet over the safety benefits though.
some people are still using mew, the issue regarding the hacking has been fixed, it is safe now to use it. but some users switch from mew to metamask, and some of them used hardware wallet, to secure their altcoins.

MEW is very efficient wallet as it is very simple to log in and transfer of the funds. But, it has few limitations that it doesn't require any 2-factor authentication. But, it has to need at least e-mail verification link by which oneself clicking the link then verify that he/she is the actual person making the transaction. This way, if somebody even got your private key only open the fund but can't make a transfer.

Actually MEW serves as my main wallet. I don't own a coldwallet like ledger yet though it is the most safest for a long term hold. But as long as you always check the URL and adding metamask in your browser. you're safe with MEW

I still use MEW even with the hacking news some time ago but I think this is a risk when you use the software wallet. this can be avoided by not storing all your assets with a wallet only, because this can reduce the risk of an asset if one day your wallet is hacked.
it is highly recommended if you have a fairly large asset, you can use a hardware wallet like ledger because it has more good security.

yes maybe lately MEW got into trouble with duplicate domains that redirect to his hacking domain. but until now while still using MEW and also add one more that is Metamask. I was very worried at the time MEW hit hack. but now it's normal to hope that its future will always be normal Smiley Thanks

I agree with you. The best option in a hard wallet such as ledger or you can make a hard wallet by yourself on the base of usb flash if you know programming.

I use the local version of the MEW purse and is still pleased with it. I hope that in the future it will also continue its work without failures.

Yes I still used MEW, since it is safe and secured as long as I'm using the Google bookmarks site to be sure and it is so basic and easy to use and it's good if you are used to it.

So far I don't see a worthy alternative to MyEtherWallet. Despite the recent troubles they had, I continue use MEW and think this is the most convenient way for crypto transfer.

Ya I use it..it is the best wallet for ether and the safest as well..you just need to be careful that you are entering your private key in the original mew site.. bookmark that site and I think every thing is fine with that

I still prefer to use MyEtherWallet as my storage option for my ERC-20 coins and also for my ETH. The Hack never affected my region I am beginning to think it was fairly localised.

I currently use My Ether Wallet with Metamask.  I suppose handling of private keys is an important issue towards safeguarding the Wallet. Keeping it offline is important. I read some posts about My Either Wallet being hacked. It really bothers me. I would like those that have experienced this to explain how it all happened so that we can learn to improve on the security measures. What further measures are we to take as regards safeguarding MEW? I will be glad to hear from cryptocurrency experts.

I still use MEW, fear of using this wallet there must be because has a lot of phishing from this site. But at least if using wallet of MEW should keep on eye to check twice or more so as not to enter the hacker trap.

Yes I am you just have to buy a hardware wallet or offline wallet like trezor or ledger nano S to secure your funds,
I am using it so that my funds wouldn't be hack even if the website has a problem they couldn't open it.

Of course I use! myetherwallet.com is the safest of all Ethereum wallets. You just have to be careful, look at the site name and security certificate.
