Do you still use MEW?

I have never used my ether wallet till now.Mostly I am afraid that my passphrase may be hacked or i might be redirected using DNS attack or fall for phising attacks .

I can see people being paranoid after the recent hacks but if you take the extra steps (hardware wallet, extension, etc.), you should be fine.

There's no reason not to use MEW if you're using it right.

I think people are just afraid, even though they can take a few easy steps to insure themselves against the hacks.

I still recommend using a hardware wallet over the safety benefits though.

Increasingly I work with mew for my wallet. Personally, I think this option is the most secure with the effective protection of its data and files.

I will continue to use mew because i never had any problems with the wallet. The past hack was not good, but it was not the first hack in crypto world. Therefore, I see it very relaxed and will continue to use mew. Smiley

I use wallet MEW as my primary purse to contain the tokens I have invested from the ICO project. I believe they are the best purse today on the Crypto market. I do not think any better than MEW, the ICO projects are based on the ethereum blockchain.

Yes you are right. i am currently no longer using MEW for my ethereum wallet.
MEW may be easy to use, but it is not secure. better use offline wallet to get more secure.

Well, look- most of the hackers will not aim the small holders, just because the people who hack are not going to get that stock of money as they can get from billionaires, or the founders of ICOs. And, you just need to use the internet carefully just for your safety, that is how you will avoid the hacks.

I am still using mew because most of the airdrops I joined asking for mew wallets and most of my bounty campaign are asking for it. Mew is good it depends upon the user and the owner of the account on how to save his or her private key and on how she or he is using his or her wallets. So if you do not want to get hack just do not give your private key and that is it.

Well... for  now MEW and IMTOKEN usually Im using now. But it's Convenient to use the ImToken... sending and this apps. is notification me when something receiving and cash out my token so..it will alert me... what a nice wallet apps.

I want to note here that there is no 100% secure wallet. However, the developers will continue to improve on the security of the wallets. Hardware wallets have their own shortcomings. They can be corrupted. And when such happens, you have lost your assets. It can be lost or something could happen to hardware wallets.

MEW will improve on the security of the wallets. Taking extra caution is a good step though.

Just Be careful, you doesn't got hacked if you more be careful. Keep you private key safe, don't click any suspicious link or website. If you want to add additional secure, you can buy hardware wallet.

Naturally. I am still 100 percent confident about the capabilities of this wallet. I trust the developers of MEW that with the recent hacking, they will generate new ways to strengthened the security of MEW. But until then we just have to be extra careful whenever we use it.

I completely agree with you, because the ethereum wallet is not only easy to use but also has a good quality of security. But all these problems that were with hacking, it's all the fault of the users.

Yes i use mew still and i trust it...just we need to be careful ourselves to protect out assets....i have bookmarked the mew site so that i do not enter my private key in any fake website..i never got any problems using mew and i hope the same in future as well
