MEW is the safest all the way and It is easy to use . You just need to be aware to visit the correct url. Definitely  I still use MEW , this nothing better than MEW . I think MEW  continue business  til 2020
MyEtherWallet (MEW) is a free, open-source, client-side interface for generating Ethereum wallets, and MEW  has a cheap cost.

With the recent hack, I assume a lot of people will switch to something else, what do you think?

I still recommend using a hardware wallet over the safety benefits though.

Just used MEW right now to transfer some bounty rewards to exchanges.

I would recommend people to use it because it is extremely convenient, but only as a gateway to safer wallets or exchanges. Using MEW with metamask has been known to be the safest way to manage transactions so far. Using MEW beats running your own node just for "security."

MEW can be used temporarily but not for everlasting long, hardware wallet seems to be the best, its easy for those in Europe, Asia and north and south America to get a hardware wallet, but those in Africa lament the difficulty in getting one.
No even for long term like 5-10 years mew is advisable to use its very lightweight and easy to use wallet and because mew gives you a full control of your wallet like exporting your privatekeys theres no problem if someday mew will be offline you can still manage your eth wallet using your own private key in different wallet.

I am still using MEW because it is easy to use and easy to transfer funds from this wallet, as long as you open it with the right site then there will be no problem at all. I like this wallet since you need also to be responsible on your private key, since you can change your private key at all so you have to be careful.

i do use mew and never hacked. i don't know the reason of hacking maybe its a phishing and the owner did not make sure with the address he is using or it can be malware virus cached from pornographic website which is both due diligence.

Myetherwallet doesn't want any of their users get hacked so that everytime you are about to log in in your Mew account they are so many cautions there signs of true and legitimate website of MEW and the license of it in the top. Just always check the URL and always install metamask.

Yes, I use MEW-wallet, why not? This is a good method for storing not only Ethereum but also tokens and ERC20. This is the reason. And yet, as I join the signature campaigns, Twitter and Facebook, it's important for me to get tokens, and MEW is one of the few wallets that can safely receive not only this, but any other tokens, and it's stable.
It's safe because it has a private key to open your account where it's easy to access.
Of course, I would very much like the developers to increase the security level of the wallet entrance.

I completely switched to metamask. It seems to me that this is safer. Since I generally stopped entering a private key somewhere. Where the metamask is integrated is generally convenient.

I am also using MyEtherWallet and it never hack , I'll just make sure I save my private key in a safest place ,even in a notebook I note it just not to forget.

Currently I still use and access MEW because now many ico projects that only support MEW address. If the hacking maybe you can find a security tool that can overcome it.

I use this purse and consider it the safest. just do not need to use suspicious sites and you will be happy. there are also different extensions that will help you in safety. I have not failed and I hope this will not happen

Yes myetherwallet is not save, it always better to use hardware wallet for better security.
Well I'm still using MEW to transfer my tokens and Ether but not save at the same time, I'm still looking for another way to transfer my ether and tokens.

Of course. Because a lot of ICO use this wallet for rewards. But I use only hardware (desktop) version. It's more secure

I don't think I have choices now except for me to stick with Mew because the hardware wallet is expensive for me to get though it's the best for securing our wallet. So I still use myetherwallet just that I usually be conscious of the site I visit.

I still use MEW with my ledger, so I wasn't really affected by the whole DNS switcheroo situation. That being said, there are quite a few alternatives out there for the suspicious type, metamask is a great alternative.

Of course. I think this is the safest wallet. Care must be taken and everything will be fine.
Many times have discussed the topic of how to protect yourself from losing your wallet.
