I'm pretty sure that even after this recent hack many people are still going to use MEW. If you don't care about your money then go ahead and still keep on using it, but if you care about it even one bit than stop using it right now and transfer all your friends out of it to one of the secure Ethereum wallets. You can always go with the official wallet which is Mist. As it will be stable and 100% secure.

Yes,I am still using MyEtherWallet and I think I will continue using it in future.I like that it is very safe wallet with great protection, friendly interface and compatible with hardwarewallets Trezor and Ledger.

I use MEW too, but i can't agree it has friendly interface. In order to begin to work with this wallet you need a good understanding of blockchain technology. The older generation will not be able to master such a wallet, so it is not suitable for a mass adoption. At least in the way it is now.

With the recent hack, I assume a lot of people will switch to something else, what do you think?

I still recommend using a hardware wallet over the safety benefits though.
Until now, i still use MEW as wallet for the tokens i get from bounty campaign and i'm not yet want to change my wallet for tokens

actually mew is just an interface. u can use it with metamask, or hardware wallets. which is probably a lot safer.

If you store large amounts of crypto currency in your wallet then you should be extremely careful about the security of the access key. Also pay attention to the website address of the decentralized crypto exchange, where you enter your personal data.

Yes, it is a good wallet, which I use for more than a year, it suits me. Especially large sums do not store on it, and there is no doubt in its security.

Sure, MEW is a decent wallet, but using a hardwallet with it surely. As if you do not use hardwallet or any kind of a protected wallet you are at the big risk of losing all your funds. I know quite few such cases from my friends when they lost everything they had on their unprotected MEW

You can use MEW with a hardwallet.

MEW isn't a wallet, but a interface to access your wallet (Trezor, Ledger, Private Key, File). It's the back end (what are you accessing with it) that matter for your security.

I do the same because I don't see good and proper wallet now. I don't mean trezor or ladger. You need to spend money and wait for some time to get these wallets and you can register MEW at any moment that you'll need.
This is good wallet for bounty tokens. Just use metamask and be careful with your private keys.

Yes, but only to receive Tokens and sales. I do not have more BTC on it because it is not safe enough. I recommend offline wallets.

I still use my ether wallet but i am using it with metamask, using my ether wallet with metamask provides a high level of security because transactions are confirmed in metamask and you don't put put your private anymore.

In history I know little of cases of hacking of purse MEW! Therefore, I consider it one of the most convenient and simple wallets! Perhaps there will be something similar!

In this online industry too many company use my Ether wallet and I am also used my Ether wallet although my account was hacked. When my account was hacked after that time I am use Meta mask so it is combined of my Ether wallet and very safe for everyone. I am suggest everyone if you want to protect your Mew address obviously you need to use Meta mask for your account security.

I like to use myetherwallet for small transactions. If I have a large transaction then I'd prefer to have it done in a regular Ethereum wallet.

Yes, hardware wallet is more secured than any other wallet one can think of and it puts the user's mind at rest, because, he has nothing to fear. We have always been receiving the news of attack on MEW. Just recently, it was an attack on the DNS. Which i think might happen again.

I agree with you on that, hardware wallet is the best option when keeping your savings, most used common wallets for bounty participants is MEW it is easy to use and also safe just keeping your private keys will ensure your security.

Yes, I use it. this is a hot purse for storing crypto-currency on the basis of Ethereum, besides this wallet is a recognized standard for convenience of work, security level, the value of the list of supported currencies and tokens. but I choose it for the main value - it does not transfer private keys to third parties, it keeps them only on the computer in encrypted form.

Currently i am using MEW because of the fact that it is free and easy to use and so far got no problem with it but i want to know some wallet that is hack-proof. You have mentioned hardwallet, what is that? Is it like MEW that we will just create a wallet?

Of course, more than that, I think that this is still the most convenient wallet for storing the ethereum and tokens based on it! I'm wondering why many claim that they do not like its use?

Yes.I do not see the problem of storing there are not very big value of crypto.MEW is free, easy to use, fairly reliable. There is no need to download gigabytes with blockchain information to install the wallet. You can use it from any computer, the main thing is to have a private key with you (printed for example).
