It is better for members on this forum and everyone in bitcoin to focus on attracting more people into the bitcoin community. People in cryptos are growing every day. Imagine if half the number of people here are able to introduce one person to invest in bitcoin; the results would be fantastic.

The reason is very simple ' Bad things spread fast'. We are so used to hatred that we have forgotten how to love. The media feeds us the bad news into our souls. A lot of blame must be on our shoulders as well because we let them spread such news.

Yes it is just all about money. If they can attract more people to read or watch their news then they would continue to do such thing because a bad news would make people be curious about it than a good news. Every day all I see in the news are the bad things or events that are happening and it will make the impression that bad things are always happening and good news is just rare. It would affect cryptocurrency news as well because every time there is scam involving cryptocurrencies then they would report it but if there are something good happening then it wouldn't even reach to their papers.

I think it's just a joke, and just to deceive it. precisely so far the development of bitcoin very rapidly and advanced. because in the presence of bitcoin, the growth of poverty in a country begins to diminish and begin to creep into a better life.

I think there are media reporting good news and also there are media involved in making half truth news which in the end will result biased to the people. Just an observation, it is still part of the whales manipulation using the media institution to make bad news that can affect the growth of cryptocurrency market that somehow result to fluctuations in the crypto market. People who had lack of confidence tend to sell their coins due panic and in such case more supply of a certain currency that could impact the current price value to lower down. I would suggest that people should not be distracted with these biased media news and refrain from being panic if situation such as huge bear markets will take place.

Media is only going to show you the negative side of things. If there are any good news about bitcoin they would keep it to themselves. We can only read what they want us to read.

Mostly I would agree yes, and this is because the big guys control the media and can pull all the strings. Also these shorters and wall st have gotten into crypto and they can short the markets without owning a single Bitcoin and when they short they make more bad Press appear out of thin air and FUD through mass media so everyone else can capitualte and sell their coins.

Not unless a billionaire who also active inside crypto industry will give them money to exposed and to create positive news about this industry, media in all means always love to gain a lot, because by providing negative impressions more people will be interested to buy their stories and more haters will enjoy to watch, the best solution is to give them what they like and for sure they will start bringing something to this system.

Do you think the media is trying to destroy Bitcoin and cryptocurrency ? I think they show 95% of the times only bad news. Why is this happening ?

uhhh history has a tendency to repeat itself

if you see news "SELL SELL SELL BITCOIN BAD NEWS ETC"
that means BUY!

reverse engineer everything and you will be alright

or when they say "BUY BUY BUY NEW BIG NEWS SMILEY FACE"
that means SELL!

When you see all the people flocking to government facility`s go the other way.

Mainstream media has and will always been biased towards bad news. Not only in cryptocurrency, but in all issues. There’s no news like bad news.

I believe media is one of the reason why bitcoin is keep decreasing of value because they spread negative news as long as they get a high rates they don't care what is the effect to the people and this kind of news discourage many people for not getting involve in bitcoin world and some of the investors start pulling their investment, I hope people should ignore this kind of things.

Its not your impression but its reality of the news channel. I guess news channels run on the basis of FUD, bad news, negative publicity because such news get attention of many people around the world at first place rather than positive one.  Roll Eyes
Because people are always curious what will happen next when they hear something like that. I guess this raises the news channels views, TRP or whatever shit you call it and thats why they are always use to it and indirectly help regulate the prices in negative axis.

I am sure that the mass adoption will happen and cryptocurrency will spread in all places. actually, the media helping cryptocurrency to be known by the people although many news that giving a bad news but I am sure that there is a good news around us. the media only give the news and it will attract people to read and it is our job to not become panic if that news is a bad news and we need to search on the other news and compare between that news so we can know what is really happen and we can decide what we need to do.

Most media are controlled by banks/governments. At the beginning they were very negative towards crypto. Now that they have accepted it more due to the positives it brings the media reaction is more balanced. I would say they now try to manipulate the market though media in order to make money through shorting or buying at low prices.

I've also seen enough positive articles about Bitcoin, even on mainstream news websites.
It really just depends, it's probably way easier to write a negative article than it is to write a positive one.

To write positive articles, you'd have to look into the technical side of things and not just repeat what everybody else is saying.

Lol! What in your country is not used for Fiat fraud? If you had statistics you would understand that bitcoin is the most honest currency. Journalists are a form of prostitution. They only write what they're paid for. Perhaps someone is interested in creating a negative image of cryptocurrencies and pays for such articles.

The ones who are paying the medias to destroy the impression of bitcoin to the world are the ones who should be blamed for these covers, news and reports. You just can't please everyone with something great and this is about business and competition in the market. In order to take down something that is getting the spot light is to start destroying it's good image and whoever is/are behind this are using the medias to make bitcoin look bad as currency and investment.

LOL this is nothing new when it comes to regular news, let alone things that pose a threat to the establishment. The media is so wrong most of the time or like you said, has a bias towards one side of a story. This is evident in every story they publish, not just Bitcoin. Don't feel singled out, because that is just how the news operates in its entirety.

Well. What do you think media portrays or gets benefit from? It is always some bad news or gossip that makes the channel famous. The media tries to seek attention by that. It will never tell you about great coins like PRG, ICX or EOS that are selling well and are about to rise.
