Most of the time when media broadcasting news about Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies it shows the bad impact that will make on the world with the expansion of digital currencies and if we look closer those are not exactly there world and attitudes they are coming from the same people who are trying to stop Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in the world by making different and cruel  methods such as restrictions and bans when one part is trying to make the crypto world expand there is another part to make it stop and who will win the time will decide

News media often focuses on negative events or bad news to attract readers and increased their audience. Most people are attracted on a news that is something controversial, crime or a disaster and this kind of news can quickly capture attention of the people. No, media do not want to destroy bitcoin. They also give positive news about bitcoin as well as negative news. Maybe the reason why those negative ones are the one that are dominant and sounded so much where people talk about it too much is because negative things is really catchy. It makes people debate about it too much that is why some media men take it an opportunity that is why some of them brought more negative news about bitcoin. But for your question, media do not do that because a media must be transparent on all things.

I think the media in countries, mainly countries that do not accept Bitcoin, are required by governments to post bad news. Affecting the value of Bitcoin in recent years. well globalists own most of the media, and own most of the banks. So the general theme throughout the msm will negative towards bitcoin and crypto in general. Some of these media outlets are just a part of the usual agenda to make it inhibit the growth of bitcoin. In the worst case that price values tend to move down the trend creating fud so that people will sell their bitcoin at a lower price.

In my perspective, I think media is biased on showing the bad news only of cryptocurrency like bitcoin. Most of the news about it is a bad sides of using it such as it is said that illegal, money laundering. and scam only.  Media is handed by someone who is powerful so the news regarding to this will be manipulated and control by the owner. Maybe they don't want to spread yhe good effects of bitcoin because they are not in favor to it.

of course the media will do anything according to the orders and controls of someone who has great power, and that is the government. they can intervene in any country so that everything including the media will be pro-government, so it's not surprising if the media makes bad news about bitcoin

With too many fails news in market in past few months, i am believe media is too biased. Media having their own interest on cryptomarket and i am believe many media dont understand much about cryptomarket or technology behind crypto.
