Hello everyone.

I was a total newbie and got started mining with 3 USB erupters each rated at 333 mhs at around the end of October. They cost me £11.95 each... so that's £35.85 total.

I started mining on them and watch a few bitcoin slowly arrive into my bitminter.com account. After a couple weeks I decided to auction off on ebay 24 hour mining contracts of ~1 Ghs. My auctions have sold for as little as £1.04 and as much as £6.30 per 24 hour mining contract at 1 Ghs.

So far I've accumulated £37.58, a few more sold auctions and I will have covered my ebay fees and paypal fees.

In total I've accumulated only ~ 0.022 BTC. Hardly a success story to shout about but I'm glad I've covered the cost of my Erupters at least...

My next plan is to purchase a mining rig that can mine for me continually while I rent out my 1 Ghs rig... Money that I make renting out my 1 Ghs rig I would like to either invest in purchasing Litecoin or purchasing BTC. One thing is sure, this is a slow and steady fun game. I'm enjoying trying to make ROI and get as much profit as possible.

One day I sold a 24 hour contract of 1ghs for £3.20 and bought a 24 hour contract of 10ghs for £3.20, effectively multiplying my hashing power by 10 for the one day...
