For now, atleast I think so too.  A lot of projects have been using the ethereum blockchain  of recent and this will be a boost to the ethereum value.  Though the price is down now, but I think it will pick up because alot of Altcoins rely on it for their value to rise.

But the eth has three serious problems:
- Network, the ability of transactions. What kind of shit can easily hammer the whole network
- Unlimited emission of tokens. Yes, goodbye miners, hello to POS
- Regulating all that ico-shit, that collects funds in the etn and then drops it to the market, dropping the rate.

I have a very positive attitude to Ethereum too, but without excessive enthusiasm or fanaticism, which most of the forum participants show to this coin. Yes, Ethereum is good, but it has its weaknesses and its shortcomings, on which we can not turn a blind eye. Maybe, it will continue to please us with a good growth of price and fame, but we must be prepared for any situation on the market, and therefore, I'm not going to blindly trust the crowd!

I can't argue with you. I can only support you. I also believe that Ethereum is the best coin after bitcoin. And even despite the fact that the whole cryptocurrency falls in price, I think that these two cryptocurrencies are not afraid of anything. Even if they fell, they will rise.

When you say best, what do you mean? Is it in terms of price or specifications and abilities?
If it is price, then I agree but if it is by specifications then a don't agree because there are other altcoins that offer the same ability and more.

It seems to me, when it comes to Ethereum, people really go crazy in discussions. It does not matter whether Ethereum is growing or falling wildly - people equally enthusiastically say that it has a "bright future" and "great prospects," although it's often just unfounded statements. In general, the price of it is quite attractive now. I'm waiting for another fall and then I'll most likely add it to my portfolio once again!
