If you should destroy nxt, at least you can fucking donate them to needing people around the world (homeless children of manilla). Would be many that would cry their eyes out if they got that kind of money.

I like the idea of at least something good coming out of the coins if we can't decide. Also, I like the Carbon Offset plan. I am also tired and don't think clearly anymore, so I'm off to bed. It's been a pleasure as usual (good luck with voting, funds and whatever else crops up! Gives me something to do for the summaries ) Yes. Thanks for reminding. We should also exclude from money keepers list everyone who mentioned charity. If you're so generous than let others increase Nxt price with these 10M and then spend your own coins for poor children or kittens or whatever. Sorry, if you get worked up by one person stating he likes an idea on a personal basis and you judge that person in totality by that, then: wow, just wow. Night night.

I propose we increase the MARKETING FUND by another 1,500,000 Nxt == Total 4.5 Million:
4,500,000/12 = 375,000 Nxt
It increases the current monthly budget by 125,000 Nxt.
This will increase Nxt value and everyone's investment.
We still stick to the monthly payment plan....paid out on the 18th of each month....next payment is February 18th 2014.
Where is the unified marketing plan and how much does it cost? What is the CPM per line item? You suggest increasing the marketing budget from $17,000 per month to over $25,000 per month at current NXT valuation - WHAT ARE YOU PLANNING TO SPEND THIS ON? WHY DO YOU THINK IT IS A GOOD IDEA?

I'm just saying that in Nxt committee we need people who wants Nxt to succeed. People like Bill Gates to Microsoft. If we spend 9M for Nxt development and marketing then the last 1M will cost ten times more than 10M now. Starting that point we can start do nice things for whatever we want.

A weaker version than the "weak version" of Goldbach's Conjecture (stronger than "very weak" though) has been proved. (And you thought talking about the Anthropic Principles was bad )

Speaking of upcoming conference in Austin, since I live here I can order t-shirts for attendants and meet them before the conference. Do we have a list of people who are going to Austin so I can contact them to have their sizes? I can also print other stuff like business cards, flyers etc.
I want to get both business cards and flyers printed for Austin but I wanted to see what got made for Berlin first. I am really interested in a black NXT T shirt but if I'm speaking I may wear something a little more formal. I have posted my hotel and flight info in previous posts and would love to have a meet up with you and anybody else that comes on Tues night before the conference. My buddy Leon Fu and I will be there also and can definitely meetup. I'm currently working on a sales/marketing presentation that will benefit everyone at the conference and not just nxt since I'm not qualified to speak about the technical aspects of nxt. If I get approved to speak, i will let everyone know. I was able to get my colleague to speak at the San Jose Conference so I don't see it being a challenge to get on stage. Image is everything so we plan on dressing "formal" as well and NOT show up in a t-shirt and hoody. Tai Zen You guys know it's $300+ to get in the door, right?

Its *NOT* the GW debate...read the post, carefully avoided Global Warming completely. Pollution yes, GW, no, so lets not start in on it.
Right. If one time gw is confirmed and accepted by 95% of people we'll play this card. For now it's 50/50. I can't let this go: http://climate.nasa.gov/scientific-consensus97% consensus that climate change is man made. It's 97% of a small group. I mean 95% of all people in the world. For now gw theme makes half people angree. We don't want to make them angree, right? It would be our weak spot to be associated with such thing.

Dear sir, you are an asshole and probably havent seen real life. Enough of this discussion. j0b

I just said that *in that case* I'd rather see them put to a use that is constructive. If you are going to disqualifying remarks, please do so based on what I say, not what you think I said, please.

With a good carbon-offset project we can cut all forms of air pollution, help some poor people and get good publicity for NXT. We are already using the low energy consumption of NXT as a marketing point, my idea is just an extension of that. Do not underestimate the power of doing good things (and getting free publicity for them!) Read my post, come back to me on all of my ideas, please.

Clean stoves. Much of the developing world (2-3 billion people) still cook using crude, inefficient wood/coal/cow dung/whatever burning stoves. This gives rise to huge emissions and local air pollution which brings health and quality of life issues with it. Recently several groups have begun to develop much cleaner and more efficient cooking stoves, which not only cut emissions and need less fuel, but make a serious improvement in the quality of life for a lot of very poor people. Again, this can’t be a bad thing.
I like this very much. To elaborate: smoke inhalation from indoor cooking stoves is a major cause of lung disease and premature death in undeveloped areas. If I had some real $$$, even without considering carbon offset or other benefits to the Nxt network, I would give to help develop and distribute cleaner cooking stoves.

Nope, CfB still is planning on it. But it won't happen. There were a poll and we voted for the committee to supervise the money. Now it's just one more poll to choose these people. A week from now they'll got coins.

It's a really popular theme as well as organic food and stuff in the first world countries and people like it. So they'll like Nxt. I just said we need to avoid gw topic completely since lots of people think it's a bullshit. I don't want these people think that Nxt is bullshiting them.

I can't let this go: http://climate.nasa.gov/scientific-consensus97% consensus that climate change is man made. The problem Uniqueorn, is that real science is NOT done by consensus. If that were the case, then we'd still think that the earth was at the center of the universe... I could go on and on with examples of why consensus has no place in the scientific method. Furthermore, I need to point out the MASSIVE incentive governments have in paying scientists to come up with the statistics they want people to see. Don't you see just what kind of money is involved in 'carbon taxing' every single person on earth?... Right now we're seeing record low temperatures all over the world. They changed 'global warming' to 'climate change', and I'm sorry... but the earth's climate has been changing for something like 4.5 billion years. I could go on and on. The main thing is: real science isn't done by consensus. and second: If people want to agree that the earth's climate is changing in a negative way, that's fine. Just DON'T steal peoples money through taxation in an attempt to fix the problem. It won't work. Yeah, plant some trees or something. But FORCE is NEVER the answer.

Don't start on GW or we will just get completely de-railed
Pollution, air quality, forests, oxygen, poor people and marketing. Thats what I want to concentrate on....
Don't forget the commies that love to hitch their wagon to environmental concerns as an excuse for controlling other people's money and business. You see a giant pile of money (Nxt) sitting there and want to appropriate it for your pet cause. Let's keep Nxt apolitical. Burn the money, or use it explicitly to promote the Nxt economy without relying on politics. Otherwise, your intention sounds nice and all, but I think the money would be better spent to send Mormon missionaries to Africa. Want to have a debate about that?
