Do you think NXT value will reach $1 this year? is it a realistic prediction?

Your prediction is extremely conservative.

big probs to all the developers here !

instead of countless posts about mining pools, or which animal has the best coin. It feels like this topic is way more development centered.

Yeah, it works better, even on 512 Mb, still got 2-3 nodes stuck, but less than before.
Could be related to DDoS too, but then, we'll always be under DDoS.

Well, I could get the same answer in the official thread of every other coin. I was expecting some arguments  Grin

For example:
rasppi.nxt.pe
facebook.nxt.pe

Actually this just forwards to 22k.io/alias so it 100% relies all the hard work you've done. And it's just a proof-of-concept / something to play around with. Give it a try, and if you think it works well perhaps it could be implemented as alias.22k.io directly.

Hey, that's neat. I've been thinking a lot of about subdomains. I'd like to tie them to accounts somehow or maybe a proxy so aliases could act a little like .onion names (just a little).

....but if all the planned features start running from the Nxt client then you automatically have a social network....alaises, msg, social exchanges, forum etc.

Think it's about the degree to which the NXT client (or plugins I guess?) can integrate and present these features to the user. Like, suppose all these features are implemented. Would be great if you could filter e.g. forum posts from [Friends] in threads (or personal page, if such a feature is implemented) tagged with topic from [Topiclist], trade offers from [Trusted Friends] for items in [Itemlist] and currency in [Currencylist], have them presented to you somewhere convenient, and get linked to the relevant forum thread/marketplace, all from the same app. Not so great if you have to visit each place separately to keep up with what your friends are doing at these places.

I think the more a third party can provide such features on top of the NXT client, the more they will be able to monetize.

Do I have the honor of submitting the first research paper (if you can call it that!) about NXT for Peer Review by the community!?  Cheesy

Check it out at the following link please - https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,1890.0.html

Regards,
Al

Keep them coming!   Wink   ...the devs should comment if anything is not accurate...

"Destruction of the NXT network by burning all the NXT tokens"  ...Oh, the Horror!   Grin

Thank you for your words of encouragement. Congratulations on reading the entire paper (at least, I'm assuming you did since you quoted the final sentence)! I appreciate it! Smiley

TIME is the time of the transaction, measured in the number of seconds since the genesis block timestamp.
