where is everyone mining these, the pools listed in the OP of the threads are tiny with no miners on?

where are the big pools?

MEC and CGB are actually really popular with solo miners because of their quick adjusting difficulty algorithms.

http://cgb.smalltimeminer.com is the largest pool for CGB, but http://multipool.us is largest when multiport is pointing at CGB, which is often...

I'm not sure about MEC.

 That pool only paid me 1/4th to 1/2 what it was supposed to after 16 hours yesterday, depending on if it was still thinking there are 50 coins/block or the new 25. Either way it only delivered 50% of what it was supposed to at best.

 For Mec I am now trying out https://www.miningpool.co/stats/MEC/ , which seems to be the only other pool with enough hashrate to find at least a block per hour.
