Well, if you compare the ATH for Ethereum, your statement is true. But you miss a point and that's EOS. For me, Ethereum won't have the same big impact on cryptocurrencies. But it's clear that Ethereum is a stable and powerful cryptocurrency, so your investment will be safe. I am also thinking about investing in Ethereum. For now I am on other altcoins like Wanchain. |

I recommend both because ethereum.and bitcoin are the two top cryptocurrency and most stable of all.They have differrent characteristics that are both good for long term investment. Good for holding as well if you have this two coins. |

Bitcoin should be first. Every time you will find Bitcoin is the first position and Ethereum is the second position. So if have enough money for invest in long time, then you must ahead for bitcoin no more 3rd choice. I always recommend buying Bitcoin. |

I recommend you to hold ethereum. Ethereum is very potential to become a popular coin in the future. I am sure of this because ethereum offers many benefits. Ethereum is almost perfect as a crypto currency only people don't know much about ethereum. When talking about crypto currencies, people only know bitcoin. But I'm sure if the public is aware of ethereum's presence then they will prefer ethereum rather than bitcoin. That is a bit of my idea about long term coin holding.

Ethereum for holding now cosam still holding as I bought at a high amount now that is low I need hold.I have no reason to rush or panick cos I know things are going to be better some day.
