Do you trust ERC20 tokens?

I think its not about a coin being erc20 or what but its more on the project itself and the devs. I have also seen a lot of projects that creates hype and good PR until the end of distribution or airdrops and then you wouldn't hear anymore about them. It is annoying but I guess it's easy to pinpoint erc20 tokens because it is easy to create smart contracts in it so most scam and shit coins are made out of it.

I have yet to see an ERC20 token with actual use case. Most are just ICO tokens that immediately gets dumped once it is listed in exchanges and others are used to scam people. Better to trust coins with its own mainnet or has an actual product.

You have a point that the erc20 token should be a fraud, it's easy to buy and ask for money or advertise and sell everything in one dump. On the other hand, some erc20 are a good study that you can buy cheap, and after a few news the price will grow faster.

it is not about the ERC20 token, it is all about the project success and failure. if project is good it will be successful whether it is ERC20 or not. so i believe in project instead of ERC20 token.

Most ICO's run on the Erc20 platform, that a project eventually failed or turned out to be a scam has nothing to do with the smart contract, I have seen a whole lot of successful coins that are a product of Erc20 smart contract, the only thing I would have suggested if possible is to make such developments a bit more expensive such that most scammers would be discouraged to use it

I still believe the product of ERC20 token because it is more promising than any other platforms of wallet address supprot from different campaign. And the fact that most of the project developed in the blockchain are mostly supported by Ethereum wallet address or ERC20.

Yes. I still trust in ERC20 Tokens. Although there are many scam tokens now but there are still many tokens which have good value. I cam give you an example. That is Staker token. The first thing I like that Staker is non - ICO token. 50% of tokens are used for airdrop. Staker uses Ethereum platform but it has a unique feature that is proof of stake. That mean, you hold more token in more time, you will get more free tokens.
