all... to really make this coin go mainstream and REALLY GET BIG will require ALL of us (especially those who mined shittons of it from the start) to periodically sell a bit at the market rate, so as to get distribution and use out.

Im a simple investor, just today bought my first quark, less than 30K, just as a gamble b/c at this point the market cap and graphs look good and it seems like a good bet with low risk high reward.

Bitcoin becames successful easily b/c it was the only game in town, and it was a monopoly for a long bit, and pure supply/demand caught on.

Now its different.  For this to be successful, you guys with shittons carry the future.  If you truly want quarks to take over not only DONT do a dump, but you'll have to make it available on the market in order for it to catch on.

Its up to you

some will dump - and some will invest mate this is the market - if the Crypto has a future you have more investors than dumpers -

While I'm supportive of doing that in the long term, it's not a good idea to bring Quarks to BTC-e just yet, we need more sites that accept QRKs.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

Agree with above.  Instead of rushing around worrying about exchanges which do not actually do anything but make hype...it is time to get people excited to build services and support the actual adoption and USAGE of Quark.  That will do 10000x more for long term price.

Originally I said it wasn't required, but Cryptsy is bending under the load so another exchange would be nice.
BTC38 could get a move on too!  We#re number 5 at the moment and they have some far far smaller coins listed.  They listed PTS after about 9 minutes!

I would observe QRK for a few weeks and then decide if it got listed on btc-e. But hey, Novacoin is a PPC-Clone, but got listed there much earlier than PPC itself. In terms of market cap PPC was always larger than NVC, but only recently there was a PPC/USD market opened.

Can someone bribe btc-e with a couple of million quarks? Wink

Well, I sent a mail to BTC-E support these days and they replied that they get many requests but do NOT plan to add QRK, MEC, DGC and SRC. When I asked which coin will be added, they pointed to "a stable coin and 3 more", whatever that is supposed to mean. Huh

They also told everyone who asked a couple weeks before they added XPM that they had no plans to add XPM.

I bought a number of QRK because I liked the name, just like BTE and BBQ. I love reading the trollbox, so if these two come together I'll be very happy.

I vote that the BTC-E admins add QRK coin.
This is purely out of my own self-interest.
I prefer the trading environment at BTC-E.

I feel it's a great coin, with marvellous characteristics,
30 second block rate, and CPU-only mining, now everyone can
mine and no one needs specialised equipment.
This is crypto evolution in the making.

It is consistently the most traded coin on Cryptsy by a long way.

QRK/BTC    Quark    722 BTC    0.00012645    0.00014230    0.00010000
LTC/BTC    LiteCoin    394 BTC    0.03624898    0.03821000    0.03499999
WDC/BTC    WorldCoin    242 BTC    0.00070418    0.00075030    0.00059999
MEC/BTC    MegaCoin    166 BTC    0.00165704    0.00183450    0.00127000
SBC/BTC    StableCoin    140 BTC    0.00036772    0.00052500    0.00026000
PPC/BTC    PPCoin    50.1 BTC    0.00531000    0.00590028    0.00500000
NMC/BTC    NameCoin    40.9 BTC    0.00820901    0.00886000    0.00805007
TAG/BTC    TagCoin    25.0 BTC    0.00220002    0.00260000    0.00164001
CGB/BTC    CBullion    22.5 BTC    0.00422018    0.00527851    0.00415404
SRC/BTC    SecureCoin    17.6 BTC    0.00194400    0.00239840    0.00125000
Points/BTC    CrPoints    7.24 BTC    0.00144963    0.00200195    0.00125000
GLX/BTC    Galaxycoin    1.53 BTC    0.00000467    0.00000575    0.00000400

I would seem to make sense for another platform to allow trading too.  Megacoin and Stablecoin need platforms too.  Sharmbeck should sort out WDCs problem.

Why not put it on their list?
Wont do any harm. Can only do good.
Cryptsy has it (among many others) so BTC-E is behind...

I voted FOR!  Smiley

The truth is to have a coin added to BTC-E, you have to bribe the owner.  That's the way XPM, PPC, NVC and all those other coins got on there.

No, thanks! Cheesy

Maybe some of the 10 % + owners of Quark should share some of his wealth with btc-e establishment, it might work.
