Same thing happened in Cryptsy, some people suddenly began to sell millions and millions of OrbitCoin and was dumping them in a very low price ,it had been said that this coin should be rare but in reality its not.
Get your facts right please and stop spreading false rumors and desinformation, there is no millions and millions of Orbitcoin even minted yet, the premine was supposed to be used to sponsor/fund open source space science.
There is currently 341773 Orbitcoins blocks at 0.25 ORB /each + the 1 million premine, that makes a total of 1085543.25 Orbitcoins, i find it
VERY hard to belive that someone listed "millions and millons of Orbitcoin", because THERE IS NO millions and millions of Orbitcoin!
The premine have never been for sale, ever!
Majority of the premine is now given away as random transaction fee`s at a rate of 2000 ORB / day.Last price it was traded for at Cryptsy was 0.0095
BTC or something, if you refer to that as a
low price then you and i are in different boats on separate oceans..
Check the webpage or ORB subforum at CCT and educate yourself a little instead.
here is some more information:
http://www.cryptocoincharts.info/v2/pair/orb/btc/coins-e/10-days&
https://cryptocointalk.com/forum/325-orbitcoin-orb/Considering the vaule/coin and the current difficulty: 0.01891871 it should be one of the most profitable coins to mine also.
Coinchoose and other sites dont take into account the 2000 being sent out as transaction fee`s they only the 2800 blocks (700 ORB) minted each day...
When Cryptsy opens for trade again the price and volume will most likely skyrocket..
I have been in contact with them, they are going to maybe re-evaluate the de-listing (ofc they cant write, yes we will re-evaluate..)
Solid coin, a awesome active developer, a growing support base and if you want to miss this train i be more then happy to not have your hashrate pointed towards Orbitcoin at the moment anyway..
