I fear too many scams have tainted the term ICO.
Now it is a negative PR from the start if you create an ERC20 token so startups went back to VC.
Which is a shame because BAT and LINK were very legitimate, and there's plenty of room for more of these.

I don't see and big ICO in the space, and we need to understand that what people called Big ICO is based on hype, how much you spend on marketing of your project, we have seen that the hype has dried out because they are not raising ridiculous amount in the space again because how many of the so call hyped project this year has burnt their investors already
You are right. People just looking to a hype. But we must look at the team and product which they offering at first. For example some hyped ICOs raised huge money and turned to a scam. For example Gonetwork raised 47 mln usd and now seems this scammers go away with money (or even more - they didnt have nothing at the beginning - even roadmap, but stupid people invested money there anyway...). And now this cost almost nothing (in 50x below ICO price). a large or small ico depends on its impact on the community if they bring many benefits to the community and they bring us many benefits, they are really big ico next in 2019 or 2020 |

I'm not sure about any other projects, but now I really like the project whose signature I have now, John McAfee spoke very well of him and I think that this will be one of the most promising projects of this year. At least I have not yet met a single project like this one.

The next level in crowdfunding in Cryptocurrency community is said to STO not ICO. What is STO? STO is security token approved by the regulators! The process of approval is stringent but do able!

i think BAT is a good option as i really like their business model. BAT will be the exchange unit for advertising and will act as a intermediary between content creators, publishers and businesses.

I primarily only invest in tokens that pay out in dividends. It's far safer to do this, in case you have to hold your bags for years, since you can then still receive dividends and make money. And two common companies are either mining or exchanges that will share their profits with investors. However, one that's new and groundbreaking is EVOAI. They likewise share their profits with investors, but what really sets them apart is how they make a profit. They do this with their arbitrage bots. And what's great about this, is that even in a bear market, if the market goes sideways or even down, they can still be profitable. |

SInce this thread has been asked 8 months ago so i guess you did find some good answer from the commentary,but i will still give my own advice because finding ICO that is legit these days very hardly to find. But try to check Bountyhive projects ,they are promoting good and reliable ICO from my knowledge,so looking at their handled project might bring you good answers |

Hard to say, the market is not good for ICO's.. or better 2018 wasnt really good... you were able to buy every coin cheaper on exchanges... there are a few good projects, but for me the market istn ready.. stable enough! If you are able to buy in seed rounds, maybe its worth a try.. actually there are already too many projects ... everyone wants to reinvent the wheel, although it does not even really turn  2019... looking for STO's, Security Tokens or Security Token Plattforms... |

Trust is the main thing and now investors seem to have less confidence in the current ico. they certainly won't invest by looking at the fact that ico is very fraudulent. I think it is now difficult to be able to find a really good ico

now there is no ICO that becomes big again, I have never encountered a hard ICap ICO anymore, usually ICO will succeed only in the softcap, maybe you can also search on several ico ratings to help you choose ICO, for example ico rating https: //icorating.com/ico/.
of course, because many investor are so tired with scam ico and unsuccesfully ico campaign because not touch the minium raised fund. investor don't want investing their money again in untrusted ico that's why many ico not touch the softcap |

i can suggest you ETHA project.. because its world’s first blockchain based remittance platform . also it has a good experienced and strong team. another great thing is they have strategic partnership with chainlink. so its a good ico to invest in 2019.
