From what I've seen none of the current or upcoming ICOs look very promising.  The failure rate of new projects is extremely high and most of them end up being scams.  I would only stick to proven coins at the top of the charts unless you feel like throwing your money away on some worthless token.
Right now it seems like a horrible time to invest in icos not only many of the projects seems very unconvincing but since the market is not giving signs of recovery then those altcoins have no chance to develop since no one wants to invest their money in speculative endeavors when they can just buy bitcoin at the current prices and make a fortune in the future.

A low cost solution without servers and databases also without all the heavy blue collar operations, would be suitable for low lying economic regions.
After 1 year of hustle and design marathons, we completed the three major code bases over 20% ERC20 codebase. TIM is hyperlocal, geo-mined and works by proof of belongingness(PoB). These 3 features make TIM superbly scalable, fast and robust.
Low Transaction Cost in Africa
The geo-mining module creates multiple sub network, where each network independently adds and validates the transactions in its geographical area. The network splits into 2 variable sized triangles if the transaction fee and waiting transactions fulfill a pre-defined condition. Similarly, the network merges into nearby zones either fully or partially if waiting transactions reduces. Such a system provides high performance similar to large enterprise cloud based solutions.
Isolated from Remote Incidents
There are special types of dapps on TIM network which are geo-fenced and zero-knowledge proof based, called hyperlocal dapps. Hyperlocal dapps maintain their own blockchain file and only the TIM coin spending is captured in main network without checks unless a conflict occurs. Conflict resolution is managed by zonal nodes and costs the usual zonal transaction fees. In honest hyperlocal dapps, the ideal cost of transaction is zero as well as realtime. This also creates a network where high volumes doesn’t impact global blockchain performance. Such a resiliency creates an internet grade blockchain.
Clean and green planet
The proof of belongingness(PoB) is the work-horse for block creation by nodes. The PoB is an improvement over PoS(proof of stake) and PoW(proof of work), so that there is no hogging of ownership by select few and also not as polluting like PoW energy guzzlers. PoB works by geo-location where certain large number of apps act as trusted source of location. And these large swarm of trusted truth source authenticating any node which wants to add a block in its region. This creates resiliency and also a high performance environment. The opportunity to add block also becomes available to a larger number of newer nodes.
Role of the Impact Fund
TIM blockchain requires only 5 TIM Coins as stake for nodes interested in creating new block. This is an extra protection mechanism where malicious nodes would loose stake for attacking the network. The staking of 5 coins is low and inclusive for democratic participation. The fund will distribute tokens to entrepreneurs in under-developed and backward regions like Africa and Asia, etc.
The new face of Africa
Exchange of information is already getting enabled in remote parts of the world. An economic media for exchange of value will unlock huge potential of Africa. Easy banking services and commerce are quick wins. Further integration into global economy will aid in uplifting of poverty, health and sanitation.

NEX handles enormous trade volume through its unique publicly verifiable off-chain matching engine. The NEX payment service enables third-party smart contracts on NEO to send and receive global assets such as NEO and GAS as part of their computation. NEX handles complex order types that aren’t currently available on other decentralized exchanges such as market and limit orders.

Eloncity uses blockchain to record transactions in the community and establish an auditable record for tracking the sources of electricity generation in the community. A crypto utility token (Eloncity Token, ECT) facilitates local energy exchange and incentivizes investment in battery energy storage systems (BESS) for storing harvested renewable energy on the customer's property. The Eloncity Foundation will collaborate with financial partners, government agencies, and other key stakeholders to establish revolving loans, which will help initiate the Eloncity project in communities lacking necessary funds.

Perlin is a distributed ledger, hardening and generalizing the Avalanche consensus protocol: a partially-synchronous Byzantine fault-tolerant protocol built on a metastable mechanism over a directed-acyclic-graph (DAG) to achieve extremely high throughput and scalability.

Natively, Perlin is armed with a decentralized compute layer; supplying it with an engine that horizontally scales and processes all kinds of computational tasks you could imagine with extremely high throughput.

Do your own research and no one can tell you the answer.
Then you can look at ICODROPS for the answer you want, because most of the time the site's ratings are available.

Have you heard CryptAssist coin? I think this is a best example of a next big ICO. With 25 apps and features, there is something for everyone, from the absolute novice to the most experienced crypto user, simplifying the way crypto is used. With one login on either your web or mobile device, you are able to access everything you need.

I believe in #Metahash. It is bringing a promise of light in the future. #Metahash shows great variety and performance. Along with the early Mainnet development. It is adding a great deal of trust to investors and the community.

hi guys,

what do you guys think will be the next big ICO?

please kindly provide a reason also.

many thanks
The big ICO has already started, I can recommend the OPP Open WiFi project. It is very promising in terms of profit, I liked it for its marketing plan, because we all need to understand that a strong advertising strategy is a very important part of the project

In today’s world, most of the blockchain coin prices are driven by scarcity model and hype which is not based on real world use case. None of the blockchain is capable enough to meet the demand of enterprise and governments. They need high transaction rate and security against future thread like quantum attack. Most of the banks are still keeping themselves away from existing blockchains because of high transaction fees, partial decentralism and future quantum attacks. From the advent of internet and most recently with innovation of bitcoin to build general purpose blockchains, it appears that the generic goal of humanity is to attain new or more freedom, more equality and more equitable access to resources. And certainly access to information is one of the key means to create a free, equal and equitable world. The progression of bitcoin as a cryptocurrency to USD 100B in 8 years is telling tale that, might be indirectly but, the general world always participates in creating a novel new platform which bring us closer to greater good.
TIM exponentially improves the performance of permission-less agents, in consensus based trust environment with geo-mining based participation for an open, decentralized, secure and distributed network of devices to exchange information. The beta network provides 500 transactions per seconds with 5 seconds wait time, which will scale to 500,000 transactions in both main network as well as hyperlocal networks, by end of 2018. The full launch will be achieved in phases with capabilities for token transactions, smart contracts, and IOT array operations across all frequencies of the spectrum. TIM network is automatically and dynamically managed by public nodes and secured by swarm apps for load distribution, fraud detection and network operations.

Today, if investing in ICO would be a wrong decision, in my opinion, should not, because the ICO is now very risky, the price of the coin continuously dropped, may never grow again.
