2017 was the year of ICO, but according to statistics, 75% of these ICO-scammers. be careful! Read the white paper, study the road map.
And invest in Bitcoin, Ethereum and promising altcoins! Grin Wink

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

There are so many New ICO's these day ? Is that safe to invest in ICO ? any 1 invested in 2018 ? 2017 was the year of ICO's but is that still safe to invest ? or how to know which ICO is good to invest ? like GIG9, Eligma, Medicalchain, Trustedthealth

Always invest first on the top coins in the market, like the top 5 coin, and if you are going to invest in an ICO then its worth to do due diligence or set up your own criteria there have been so many recommendations from the experts that turn out to be shitcoins.

Bitcoin and altcoins like ethereum, neo and litecoin are tested and proven to stay and rise at the market. We can rely at them, i prefer to invest those coins and hodl it not less than a year because they are best in long term investments. They will rise high in the future base on the facts that they are rising and became more valuable as years pass by. Still good to invest at ICO's but you should search and select those ICO's that has good projects and purposes at the community. I prefer ViValid.

If you are just starting out, then you should really take your time to research a good ICO before investing.

But, right now timing is critical.
Although last week the market has gone down a bit, the past month has shown a lot of signs of a bull run coming up.
I highly doubt you will see prices this low ever again or for a very long time.

So, for now, I would recommend just investing in btc while you research and learn more about ICOs and other altcoins.

When the price of btc rises high, that should be your signal to start diversifying your portfolio by buying into other things.

If you can find the right ico, you stand to make huge profit.
With the huge chance comes a lot of risk also.

For altcoins, it is easier to tell if it is worth investing or not.
If you need some suggestions, any smart contract coin is good, particularly NEO, Waves, and Ada.

ALT or BTC. ICO only if there is no "human handling" of the funds ideally!

This time it should invest in BTC instead of altcoins and ICOs. In the second half of 2018, ICOs are almost unlikely, altcoins in the downtrend due to BTC, ETH increase. So it is best to invest in BTC and hold until the end of 2018, which will help you make a profit without paying attention to the exchange rate of the market is fluctuating daily.
No short cut to ICO better than personal and convincing research and from those that had earlier on participating in such ICOs. Better still as you have said, BTC is good to invest in as the most reliable mother coin but it just have to be a long term effect before one can acquire good ROI on it except for occasional inevitable hype periods based on its strong volatility. Insert Quote
The investment in BTC, altcoins or ICO depends on each person's personal point of view. Do you define short or long-term investment in this market? If you decide on short-term investment, you can invest in altcoins and ICOs, and if you have long-term investment and hold for at least a year, then BTC and ETH are an excellent choice for you at the moment.

How about diversifying your portfolio into all 3 - BTC, ALTS and ICO's ? This might help you reduce the risk.

I think it is safe to invest in the coiss. They can bring us more money in the market. You need to make careful research befor you make any invest. For example, you need to find out the team members to see if theya re good enough.

investing in ICO is very profitable. especially when the ICO is successful and reaches the Hard cap. so by investing in ICO is very good and able to increase revenue to our wallets. besides, with soft cap alone, we are able to get the advantage that much less hard cap. so a lot of profits are gained by investing in ICO.

I see that right now, it's a good time to invest in bitcoin and altcoin only but you can invest in ICO too if you want. but my recommendation is for investing in bitcoin and altcoin because both bitcoin and altcoin have a chance to increase higher especially we are in the downtrend right now so the price has a chance to get increase back. investing in bitcoin and altcoin is the easy ways that you can do and you don't have to make research too deep because every coin has the history and we can analyze from this to find what the coin.

If you want to be on the safe side then i suggest you to invest in bitcoin, it may be expensive. But it is all worth it most especially in long term investment. Though altcoins can be ideal also since the prices are much cheaper than bitcoin, just make sure that you are going to buy a potential coins like ethereum, litecoin and monero. In terms of an ICO, yes there are lots to choose from but the thing is it is so hard to predict if an ICO is going to be a success or not.

you should know that investing in ico is very risky than investing in altcoins that have entered the exchange. but not one obstacle or obstacle for you to get a big chance on ico investment. Well, this is what you should know. you should look for various knowledge especially about ico project analysis, you should try to find the benefits faat you can get from the investment. so try to get it.

The most important thing before join on ICO, we should read their whitepaper. Its much better if that ICO already have working and running product and backed by real company.
Many good ICOs but its many more scam ICOs and we should do research before decide to join

There are so many topics were created with the same question as you ask, definitely there are lots of ICOs. Yes, it is safe to invest in them- for those who have learned how to find out whether the project is a scam, or it is not.

Quote
invest in BTC
Bitcoin is the top in the market. It is the safest to invest in the most secure.
Quote
Invest in Altcoin
The price of the alt-coins suddenly increased and decreased.
Quote
Invest in ICO
The ICO is like gambling. The company is like gambling. This is risky, because the probability of profit and loss of chance are the same. Think of what you want to do.

I think you should invest in Ethereum. This is the most useful coin with good technology and smart contract's!
This is the most reliable investment. The ETH is actually used, the number of transactions is growing all the time. I think that by the end of the year ETH will at least return to its highs.
This is how it is looking to shape up now ethereum has broken off of bitcoin downward price spiral.
It has recovered almost all of it's loss in price since Saturday morning when bitcoin was over $1000 more than what it was just the night before. Ethereum followed this loss as did all the other alt coins tied to the price bitcoin.
But now it has recovered back to what it was before the massive loss but bitcoins price only recovered $400 back since then.

It really depends on which one you think has the better future. Personally I've had very little time so I just focus on the alts that I know and I'm familiar with and whose upcoming plans I know.

This will depend with your plans and how you want your investment portfolio to look like. BTC is an absolute yes, invest in this coin and it will reward you. Alt coins can be unpredictable and so are ICOs , but with a keen eye, you might just get some of the best there is out there

it's up to you to invest in Altcoin or bitcoin because investing in Crypto you can invest in bitcoin in the long run and I advise you not to invest in ICO because many ICO projects are Scam because many investors are taking advantage of the many people who joined the ICO project

There are as many of them as before. And so few are promising. Determine the criteria for selecting the best and invest in them
