Some ICOs are safer to invest on them while some are not safe. The only thing you need to do is to  make your own research before investing on any project. But in terms of BTC, that s a nice investment.

I don't have much experience in investing to the ICO. I invested just for a couple but even my experience says that this is not a good way for newbie. I invested only for "strong" and "legal" ICO like savedriod and I'm still waiting for the exchange and other coins now costs lower than on ICO, so maybe it would be better if you will buy coin after ICO or just buy BTC or ETH.
