Agreed . alts and btc are indeed safer than ico's but keep in mind , the more risk is equals to more profit . if you are risk taker and wont mind loosing at all , then go on and invest in ico's but if you are scared enough to loose or you are already contented on what you earn on investing and trading in cryptos , then stick only on cryptos .

I think will advise you should invest in bitcoin and altcoins because most of the strong ICO are down their ICO prices so it's a good opportunity to get some of those good project at a cheaper right, I won't advise you to invest in an ICO at the moment until market gets better.
