as you can see in the market, ethereum is the next most valuable currency in the market, and everyone, including me, thinks that it is the next best cryptocurrency to bitcoin.

The fact that Ethereum and its many ERC20 and ERC23 token's market capitalization merged is far above any other coins except bitcoin is the reason why ethereum is the only cryptocurrency that could compete with bitcoin, the other? not really proven until now, and see, Ethereum revolutionize the whole cryptocurrency world.

That is absolutely right! Doing your own research is a must when investing in a certain coin. Do not just invest just because some people said that it would be so right to invest. But, if you would ask me what is the best next to bitcoin, it is probably Ethereum. As it stands now, Ethereum is standing close to bitcoin. But, not right next to bitcoin. Maybe, in a few years, it would be so close to Bitcoin.

No doubt, it would be Ethereum that is next to bitcoin because it's currency is now widely use in most of the business applications. Many big companies are adopting the use of ETH currency like service transactions, bills payment and money transactions.

I monitor the development of Altcoin since a few months ago. and I see that EOS is an Altcoin with a fairly rapid development.

I believe ethereum is the answer, I don't see any coin like this one. We can see their history progress ( price action, volume, news ) that will give us description how good this coin and worth to become the next after bitcoin. Most people will agree with me and if not, they didn't see clearly.

ETH is bound to keep growing an maintain the 2nd place after BTC. More projects are based on the Ethereum platform and using the currency to fund their ICO's. So as of this moment it would be the "safe" option as it's well established on the market with a huge following.

If you're new to the market I would suggest you to read up on the top 10 coins and gain a understanding of how they work and take it from there, and when you start investing, diversify your investment between at least 5-10 different project.
