Nitrogen announced they were raising their limits to compensate for the drop in the value of a bitcoin.

Unfortunately, I'm not seeing it.

For much that I bet including major US sports, the limits are unchanged, even though a bitcoin is worth about 1/3 what it was when I first started betting there.

Nitrogen - how about some follow thru?

I made out a support ticket since this forum is marketing people, and got this response:

"We are raising the limits soon although we don't have a set day for when we are raising the limits. It takes a bit of time for the programming team to change what is necessary to allow this."

Nitrogen - when will this occur?

Seriously? It's that difficult to change one limit amount to another? Weeks or months of programming, rather than a few minutes?

Why announce it weeks before you're ready to follow thru?

There was actually a difference of only a few hours from when you sent in your support ticket on January 5th (and posted here on the forum) and when we made the announcement (on this very forum), later the same day.

The support team member was correct, limits were going to be raised soon, and there were discussions taking place as to when that would happen. Here is my response to you, that day, when those discussion were happening:

I like the 1.924 odds, some of the best out there. By the way, it would be unfair to raise the limits in the middle of the month. the reason is because a lot of people have purposely tried to place in the parlay jackpot promo, by raising the limits in the middle of the month, you have effectively just screwed everyone taht had been trying to win the jackpot parlay promo.

Today all limits were doubled, you'll notice starting limits have increased. So instead of a game opening at 1btc, it'll now open at 2btc.

You are correct, however, that max bet limits are now 40btc, and not 20btc as I had stated in the OP. Thanks for catching that.

I can't recall what some of these were previously, but looking at odds today some of the limits still seem quite low.

They were all doubled. It wasn't done by sport, it was done by the limits. If the previous limit was .5btc, it's now 1btc, 1 became 2, 2 became 4, 3 became 6, etc.

I did notice yesterday, myself, that some of the (lesser) soccer leagues and games had a bit of a discrepancy (based on starting limits) but that has more to do with odds we get from our provider.

I'll bring it up tomorrow, to get looked into. Will keep you posted.
