IFC IS DEAD.

At the end of the day the coin died because people lost interest after all blocks were mined. I loved this coin, probably too much.

Let this be a lesson to other coins.

The main platform for IFC is Jubi.com. Daily volume is approximately 10k$, not very high but in the same time not very low. If you don't know Chinese Google translate will help.

Delisted from poloniex, must be dead. Bter is not legit any more, now is a dangerous exchange, I have seen so many scam accusations against bter.

CHANGE LOG 1.8.6:

-Advanced check pointing system to protect against a 51% attack. This will be a temporary measure until the full rebuild of 2.0 is completed. The block chain will be regularly monitored by the developers and regular checkpoints will be issued. This limits the effect of 51% attacks and makes recovery much faster and simpler. This will also include a warning message displayed in the client if issues are detected warning users to postpone transactions until the network is secured.

-Transactions under 100 IFC will have a fee of 200 IFC transactions under 10,000 IFC will have a fee of 100 IFC.An optional default fee of 10 IFC will be set in the client for all transactions. This can be easily changed. I encourage you to pay this fee because it will strengthen the network. You will still have the option of setting it lower or even to zero in the client GUI if you must.

-Any transactions over the limit of 10kb per transaction will have a 100 IFC fee per 1kb. Transactions over 100KB can no longer be sent.

MINING

1. Start up infinitecoin-qt, wait for it to load, then exit.

2. Put infinitecoin.conf (see sample file above) in your c:/users/**yourcomputername**/appdata/roaming/Infinitecoin

3. restart infinitecoin-qt, and you should connect and sync.

4. For solo mining, launch cgminer or whatever mining program you like and begin mining.

: cgminer.exe --scrypt -o localhost:9322 -u **yourusername** -p **password** (without **)

TECSHARE is the man me thinks but this coin has died a slow death. The problem is that interest waned as soon as it was all mined. A shame really as this was a great coin and community at one time. I miss it.

it does not need a dev,
as coinits notes above,
it is mined out and on sustain emissions,
which are too low,
hence let that be a LESSON.

still this coin has deep roots, i wouldn't say dead yet, just stuck at reality, it needs to focus on cost metrics, if it survives 1-2 more years it stands to fair well.
