This was the first coin I invested in back in 2013 when I got into cryptocurrency. Since then I have moved onto and found another coin that has a community and a very committed dev team.

However, I have never seen IFC this high in price despite the coin not having an active dev team or the wallet even fully syncing.

Now is a window of opportunity for this coin again.

I hope we can get an enthusiastic creative dev team and build a solid community around this coin again.

Give this coin a real purpose and solid concept once again!

Understandable why you Devs would feel as they do.  But if Devs are unable to continue with this coin or all  Devs still available that are simply unwilling to rise to the occasion should now propose the forming of a new Dev team.  As leaders we need to be strong and courageous, that means we have to pass the test of adversity.  The adversity for the current Dev Team has been GREAT BUT TODAY IS A NEW DAY and if you look for it, new strength and power is available - right now.  The TIMING for IFC had not yet come but is definitely here right now.  A strong Dev team now needs to be in place along with a marketing Guru.  The new Dev Team if one needs to be formed in the absence of the old one, would have to be willing to accept IFCs as donations or any other form of Dev funding.  The team would have to be believers in what their developing.  With new Dev and Marketing and Old Coin like IFC can gain traction to fulfill the original intent:  Electronic Cash.  It's not too late yet, but the window of opportunity will soon close, so if anything happens it needs to happen quickly.

We need to see the fact that IFC is hitting new highs, has great daily volume and all this is happening even without an active Dev Team.  Just imagine the possibilities with Dev and Marketing. My head is not in the clouds with all I'm saying but like anything else success is the product perseverance and effort.  It won't be easy but it's definitely possible.

To all you HDLRs, those that have millions of IFCs, just think this coin could be worth $.10 in the near future how much would your bag be worth?  There's only a few coins left where a non WHALE could acquire millions of and IFC is one of them.  So I say to the community at large if you don't believe this could happen maybe you should consider getting out now and to those that believe let's support a Dev Team and let's get excited about this Darn thing.

This.

There are many coins out there with devs working around the clock that can't even reach infinitecoin's current marketcap and volume.  Top market cap coins have enough room to grow probably up to 3 to 10 times more while infinitecoin has room to grow 50 to 10,000 times more.  Relatively minimal dev work for so much potential return.  Heck, just copy paste litecoin segwit code, leave it for a while, and even without marketing the price will probably soar to $0.01.

We need the Dev Team to step up one more time.  Just the news alone announcing that the Dev Team's back will raise price by 100 SATS. This reinvigorated Dev Team could work on the following:

1.  Segwit Implementation

2.  Hybrid PoW and PoS implementation

3.  Additional Mining Algo allowing for ASIC like X11 (some folks oppose ASIC but I've been Mining DASH with ASIC since the first Baikal Unit and I've experienced DASH go from $2 to today's price of $152, let me tell you it feels good on the pocket)

4.  Adopt some privacy code into the coin, borrow from DASH, MONERO & ZCASH

Think about this: We have almost 20 BILLION LESS CIRCULATING SUPPLY THAN DOGE COIN yet their price right now is fluctuating between 120 to 165 SATS, each time peaking higher and higher.  We can beat DOGE all we need is Dev commitment.

What's it gonna take to get a functioning Dev Team in place?  That's what we need right now.

All it'd take is funds. I could do 1 and 3 for you.

I have never had any problems syncing the official IFC wallet, works every time, transactions are really fast I think.. I always have 4 to 8 active connections to the network. This coin is really undervalued compared to similar coins. Just a little advertising could send it much higher. We do need more exchanges though..

Also the website looks great, however the coin is listed on just a few exchanges, so the website needs an update and maybe we can convince exchanges to get this coin back

IFC have a lot more potential.

So far today's volume is above 3.6 million.  People love this coin, just imagine what we can do with a Dev Team

How much IFC is everyone sitting on? Missed out on the May 18th surge.

If anyone needs nodes, I have about 200 in my conf and my wallets syncs pretty quick. I picked it up from NovaExchange.

Some care in the US Market.

Either this is like some Magic Coin or someone is picking these suckers up by the millions right before some BIG ANNOUNCEMENT.   No active Dev Team yet high daily volume; something's up, don't unload your coins on the cheap, you'll be sorry.

There should first be a Dev Team to speak of, it seems like there missing in action.  Huh

From previous posts it looks like they are not interested, but there could be a new dev team. Plenty of devs out there like my self, but like how many have mentioned this effort would take funding.

Post who you are, what you've done and what you'll do as an IFC Dev;  That might be a start.  However, it's still my opinion that the Previous Dev Team is about to rise again and at this point they're just amassing the coin right now, because when the news hits, the coin is gonna explode.

With all the new Coins and Platforms being released everyday most don't fit the bill for being a transactional currency.  IFC has this for itself, it can compete as a currency.

With this said I'm doing a little amassing myself.  Cheers!

I agree.  Most coins try to one up each other with more features and algos not realizing the bloat and complexity issues in the future.  Infinitecoin is still simple, lean, and efficient for a transactional currency.

Nah the wallet is working fine for me bro, are you not able to sync the wallet? If yes did you try adding nodes to the wallet. You can use novaexchange's nodes list https://novaexchange.com/addnodes/IFC/
