is ifc-community aware of the fact that there is a good chance they have been dumped on lots of stolen coins from coinex over the past months? Would explain the low price.

This coin is dying a fast death. Why? Devs seemed to have abandoned the coin. The official forum is overrun with spam and the community has wasted away to almost nothing. From over $7 million in Market Cap to around $800 K in a few months is more than an overall downward trend in the market.
There needs to be something done to get this coin out of shitcoin status ASAP. The suggestion of merged mining sounds like a great idea to me.

Yes, I agree - Infinitecoin is the perfect candidate for merged mining. Don't know if there is any dev interest in it though.

The coin has not been abandoned, but due to medical issues of myself and the developer our work on the coin has been restricted. We could use development assistance from anyone willing to help. I have several strategies to improve IFC but lack the required dedicated development assistance needed to get us there. I would really like to move IFC forward, but do IFC users really expect me to run everything by myself with almost no donations and little community assistance? In the end it will come down to IFC users to take the steps needed to recover this coin. I would like to help get us there but I am not a one man army, sorry.

You still have Coinex on the OP, they have been scamming people since april or so and now the site is down. That's probably part of the reason the price dropped, cause they dumped all users their coins

Truly sorry to hear about medical issues. I wish you a speedy recover and best of health. No one can do it on their own. I do not have the skills to do development but maybe I can contribute in another way. What do you need? A PM or on here is fine.

The difficulty is low enough that you should be able to solo mine.
