This was posted whilst the market was in an uptrend and had just peaked
It's now in a downtrend again but if it manages to avoid plummeting too low it may recover to this level in Q3 else it would be more likely to occur later in the year if conditions are favorable

I think 20k USD is pushing it for 3 months. I would say that in 3 months time we wil see a steady increase in price of all crypto currencies then a strong rise by the fourth quarter. I'm no stock market analyst or even a crypto currency analyst but i would say by trend i see we wil see BTC hit 10k USD by August maybe 20k USD by the end if the year.

A lot of people expect to return to 20k $. At the moment bitcoin is struggling to exceed 10K $. And as you can see it is not easy and the current increase is not steady. I think that reaching such a high price again may take longer than August.

Looks like we have missed the current steady state which you were talking about earlier start of the second week this month. haha. Current situation is like 50%-50% chance that we are going to grow in the near future. I mean bearish and bullish markets are really struggling these days and they are fighting each other to go one over another. I think crypto currency needs some dozens of whales at this point who should pour large amount of money into the crypto to break the bearish trend.  |

21 day passed since your post and the only change I see is a slight decrease in price. Even though a fork until 20K is possible, but it is very improbable.

I also think bitcoin can't really reach $20k level on August not unless we heard a strong news that can really boost the whole market of cryptocurrency. I'll be more patient this time because I know bitcoin will be back but its really need more time so we can see a strong bull market again, I hope it will happen in December 2018. |

It is hard for bitcoin to hit $20000 by the end of August. I think that at the end of this year sounds more reasonable. Bitcoin needs at least a year to recover what it had lost in the beginning of this year. Bitcoin is good but I think it is hard for it to grow in this year

Closer to the autumn, cryptocurrencies start to grow. It is not known how big this growth will be. I'm also inclined to think that in the autumn bitcoin will cost $20.000, and by the end of the year $50.000

indeed since you make this thread the price looks stable and like will be able to reach $ 20,000 at the end of the year. but, look at the price chart now dude, the price looks very monotonous, does not show to go up. from a few days ago prices have decreased a few percent and the decline is still going to happen, the market is still in the shadow of the downtrend, the end of the year it seems we will not see the price in the figure $ 20,000 but we will see the price below it. we'll see later, the market just needs to keep pumping prices and get the good news to reverse all the circumstances right now.

No steady growth? From last year November to where we are right now, the bottom development indicates very steady growth. November 2017 bottom ~$5500 February 2018 bottom ~$6000 April 2018 Bottom ~$6400 And currently we're about to set another bottom. If that isn't the default definition of steady growth, then I don't know what is. Stop focusing on peaks, they only mirror hype/greed/speculation. Eventually the market will smash through $100,000 as well, it's just a matter of time. People need to stop expecting insane returns in a market that has no incentive and justification to moon any time soon. It's just a matter of logical thinking. We aren't done with the sub $10,000 bottoms this year, accept it. |

What are your thoughts?
I see you posted on May 6. Its May 25, and the market goes down badly. I'd like to know if you still believe that by August Bitcoin can hit $20k or more? Really can't see that dream but by end of the year that might happen. |

I hope so, but it's unlikely. The upward trend will continue, and hopefully regulations don't impact it negatively. Probably before the end of the year though.

Right now it doesn't feel like it, but the sentiment of the market could change at a moments notice. I don't know whether or not the run up will happen prior to August but I would confidently bet we surpass 20k by years end.

Oh stop, please, I'm tired from all this out of base prognosis. Wake up! Bitcoin is falling again, 7900$ currently. Three months it is too short period for bitcoin to recover itself to 20000$.
Throw a random strange opinion , weak analysis ... Sigh everyone seems so mad. Even with a strong rumors when the big whales say no then the recovery won't happened. We need some real actions such as a massive adoption that drives people interested to buy more and more Bitcoin , and that wasn't an easy task , can't be done in short period like months , it takes years. |

But if you are predicting numbers and price you will be proven probably wrong or only very lucky.
We can't even predict what will happen tomorrow.
According to some people bitcoin would be 12000 dil kars and above by now.
