We wait to see whether he will avoid paying the investors by citing the old claim that Cassie has their BTC, or if he will actually pay every investor back as he took their investment without asking Cassie in the first place.

I sincerely hope and wish the project Cassie has lined up will be a great success, she seems to have put much effort in to this and remained dignified throughout the difficult phases when Justin was making all sorts of allegations against her.

As I suggested in his other thread, he needs to send the BTC back today or he will likely be facing big charges.

Yes, definitely looking forward to hearing all of the investors say they've received 100%+ of their money back, that's the right thing to do considering charges could be brought, and wouldn't be shielded by an LLC.

The value of the property stolen basically means he's looking at felonies, class1 or 2 depending. Money laundering and grand theft easily, among others. The fact is he took it without permission of the owners, he did so acting as majority shareholder when he wasn't, he failed to include the share's owners in on the information prior, etc. The crimes have been committed and charges can be brought by anyone at this time. The situation is well documented, and  more of his personal and family details are available to make this happen.

It's in his best interest legally to return all shares immediately, not weeks from now. An LLC will not spare him or his family from the brunt of the legal fallout, especially an uninsured LLC like his. Honestly it makes it worst, it goes from a he-said-she-said to making him culpable by default.

Justin, fair warning buddy. Immediate means immediate, those returns need to start flowing today. You're in hot water and I don't think you grasp the severity of the situation.

I guess it is too late for him to repair the damage done to his reputation now. Well, even after all the wrongs he has done I feel somewhat sorry for him if it is true he is only 17 years old (or even 22 years old).

It seems he tried to fool Cassie and investors by passing off a $47 turnkey solution as his own work and in the end got caught out, ran off with the money people invested, spent some if not all of the investment on his personal use and then decided he actually could not deliver the splinter project after all. He lost all respect in OpenEx and Bitcoinforum, he sadly is to blame for him own demise.

It will take just one person to file a complaint to the police about him and he will be arrested. Even though I feel sorry for him because of his immaturity and because of his age I think it is in his own best interest if someone did file a complaint against him. Even though it will (almost) ruin his life having a criminal conviction at such a young age, I am sure he will learn from it and never commit another crime again. The best person to file a complaint is Cassie since he stole the funds from her and she has first hand knowledge of what he did, when he did it and how much he took.

I hope he does not end up being held in custody while the police carry out their checks because it is common knowledge that on many occasions while being held behind bars really bad things have been known to happen when gullible and (almost) innocent young men are forced to share their tiny cell and large communal toilets/showers with other experienced longer term serving male inmates. Many newbie male convicts are known to have been bullied, beaten, robbed, raped and gang-raped by sexually frustrated male inmates as well as being forced to be their servants.

We hope this whole sorry episode ends well and good with him returning the stolen BTC and having no charges brought against him and we hope to see Cassie's project come along smoothly

You can tell he is a child because instead of admitting he messed up, and trying to make it right and leaving with some dignity. He through a temper tantrum, like a 2 year old and in the process created multiple counts of felony fraud, and federal felony of the digital security regulations.

He really screwed him self. If I was Cassie I would report this and send him to federal pound-me-in-the-ass prison. Maybe that will teach him not to be so childish.

I agree with you that Cassie should report the matter as a crime. If she does report the crime and the police arrest Justin for taking the BTC without consent, for DDOS attacks on her and then defaming her character via the pathetic website, then I think he will probably get a prison sentence.

What is the solution then? How does this situation get resolved? He has spent BTC not belonging to him (on personal use). If he has a track record of scamming people as you suggest then you have to file a complaint.

Thankfully I never invested as I found out about the whole issue after he set up the so-called bitbay transfer thread but if I had invested I would have called the police by now.

Not when it's been put into public information spaces for public purposes. He's registered domains with personal details, which you are legally allowed to gather, and done the same with other tidbits for other purposes. He's left a clear breadcrumb trail. You simply cannot use the information for illicit purposes, but you can use it for legal purposes to pursue legal actions.

Cheeky: If people are interested, they should band together in one topic thread and post up their intentions, and then contact the police/sheriff in his area and inquire about filing a report on the matter. That's a great first start. If Cassie led the way, that would be fabulous as well.
