The last bubble was bitcoin's last hope for establishing itself, now that it's crashed in the middle of the media spotlight, no one will have confidence in it anymore. Have fun holding the last tulip when it all comes crashing down. Serves the gullible idiots right for buying into a ponzi scheme posing as a fake currency.

OP was online today. Wonder why he isn't babysitting his awesome thread anymore?
Maybe he is going to come back since we are seeing another fall in prices. Obviously, nothing wrong with seeding panic sell for a succesfull trader at the right time during your dump

Obviously, nothing wrong with seeding panic sell for a succesfull trader at the right time during your dump No - but everything wrong about falling for it. Not only do they lose money, they support all those who say that Bitcoin is too volatile to use as a medium for payment. This also prevents further adoption. I usually help catching these falling knives and make good money in the process. So suckers: The coins you sold in your panic are now mine. Stop this BS, keep your coins or SPEND them and we all profit from Bitcoin@500,000

Thanks suckers for paying for my family's skiing holidays. This crash/rebound pattern is so predictable - why don't more people make money off it - thereby suppressing the occurence of that pattern?

Only if you can be sure this pattern continues, but you can not

Only if you can be sure this pattern continues, but you can not I hope it doesn't. That's why I am posting this. Not because I want to boast what an awesome trader I am. I am not. I have no clue about TA or anything. I don't trade usually.I only bottom feed on this particular pattern and I am doing that since 2 years. I only hope my post is provokative enough so that panic sellers/buyers start thinking.

To write everything in small letter not mean he has a low IQ, just mean that he is a lazy internet writer. Even a dyslexic could be a brilliant mind (Albert Einstein for example)

I guess you won't know for about two months?

seems most of you guys still forget why the first 2 bubbles popped: technically issues @ major exchanges caused mass fear and that fear driven further by negative media.
We, so far, arent seeing that in this bubble... the panic etc... seems to be more directly related to governments / banks attitude towards bitcoin .. So, what happens after this bubble pop will be very interesting... as governments / banks continue to move against Bitcoin ... what will people ultimately want, freedom or slavery...

Sorry , but the last panic that triggered the price collapse was because of a really bad interpreted news. It wasn't anything against bitcoin. It has defined it's use and nothing more. Then some panicked , people with large stash saw a possibility to dump now and buy back lower and you have the scenario.

Max Keiser lowering his interim target from $1700 to $1400 because of JPM 'patent trolling' is a concern, low and behold price 'crashing' again Good. Weak hands need to get the fuck out. They're the same guys who come here with 27 posts and write uneducated nonsense because they understand 0.000001% of what Bitcoin is all about. Or they hang out in the Speculation forum and start babbling nonsense about charts and dead cats bouncing, and other super cool day trading terms. They're in it to make money and cash out. Couldn't care less what they're actually contending with. Let them run in fear, and in 6 months find out their emotional instability ruined them.

The problem is that i don't see anyone coming in especially after the huge swings that are happening lately. I think we should try to restore confidence to the weak hands and not wishing for them to sell
